Quick, easy and low cost!

I just installed and used this application on my Sony a6600 camera. I had a wifi connection and control of the camera within 30s. I tried two shots in bulb mode, easy to operate the shutter and a reliable connection. It is way better than Sony’s own Imaging Edge app. Full functionality costs just $10.99. Bravo!

So easy

So easy to upload photos! I tried for hours to upload on the Sony app which was driving me crazy, this app had my photos transferred in a minute! So happy!

Unable to use primary function s

I am unable to use the primary functions like change of Aperture, ISO or shutter speed when using my iPad or Iphone. I am connecting to Sony A7RII. Do I need to change any setting which I may have missed.

I was having issues with connecting my Sony a5100 to the Sony app. This works great.

Needs refinement, have potential and awaiting updates

Hi Simon, thank you for the app. I have installed it and manage to get the time lapse working. Need to switch the focus to manual. Also once I save timelapse setting and return to the function it resets to the default setting. I have used it on the a7r3 and can be a little laggy. I am looking forward to updates and instructional manual for the app. What is the maximum distance my iPhone can be away from my camera for the app to continue operating? Thanks!

Needs more work

This app shows limited promise, but at the moment won’t control my Sony 7R3. Can’t focus, won’t fire the shutter. By comparison, Sony’s much maligned play memories app does that and a little more. Was hoping to get the timelapse function through this app but didn’t get to first base. Time for Sony to step up and install it via a firmware upgrade.
