PREREQUISITES

• Camera: for photo transfers to read invoices, remittance slips or QR codes
• Microphone: to use call from-within-the-app function
• Location approval: to search for ATMs and branches
• Contacts: to send money to your contacts
• Network: the app requires an internet connection to the bank. To check the connection, we need the right to view the network status.
• Hard-/software checks of your device: At runtime, we check known, security-relevant attack vectors (e.g. rooted/jailbreak, malicious apps, etc.)
• faceID usage: to make easier login for the customers

Cant believe how easy it is

I’m not particularly good at technology so this is so very easy and most convenient

This Banking App Works Well

I use CB for my European Business and this app works really well especially with the PhotoTAN app - It would be good if the U.K. accounts have the same - The fact that it is in 2 languages and works seamlessly is also a plus

Bad on iPad

App has been terrible for years on the iPad. It’s just the iPhone app in a small window, not modern at all.

English support

Totally unacceptable that a bank of that size and scale doesn’t have an automated English telephone line....

Useless

The app is not able to keep up with movement of funds, continuously showing wrong balances. I was told by customer service to rather use the desktop app for correct depiction of funds, instead of the app. ☹️

Disappointed

I can’t actually see where my money goes. Transactions doesn’t appear in the accurate time and descriptions are very vague. On weekends it doesnt update so I think I have more money than I do. At the bank all the answer is “try to check it another day” Really upset about it tbh.

Worst banking experience ever!

Transactions are never shown for the current account. The need to use the crappy photoTAN app in addition to this makes it even more difficult for a simple operation like making a transaction. Phototan keys also expire and one can has no choice but getting a new one in order to make a transaction. The “new” feature, apple pay is also arranged in ridiculous way, issuing a virtual debit card instead of connecting the existing plastic with the App and providing data to the Apple Wallet.. Called to unblock my photoTAN, no response.. Feels like Banking experience and service in Germany is 2 decades behind the average UK/US banking service..

The first few versions were somewhat lacking in functionality but I think all the gaos I had have been fixed 👍🏻
