It’s a great delivery app to order food online

I tried using this recently while I was travelling to the US, and realised it does not list India as one of the country codes you can add for a phone number. In the Bay Area, that’s a huge miss!

Delivery person didn’t call or message me. Showed order delivered and I had not received any order. When I contacted support team, they refunded me only $6 for order of 26 $

The app works just fine. Doesn’t crash. Does what it’s supposed to do, so from a technical pov, you’re good. However, DoorDash Australia has hands down the worst customer service. They club orders together without customer consent for god knows what kind of operational enhancement that has delayed my order countless times by 30 mins minimum. There was a recent incident when a dasher ghosted me after I waited for the order for an hour. Reached out to support and they said they can cancel and refund. This is where my complaint is, is my time not worth anything? How do I eat now after you cancel my order after me waiting for an hour? How does this compensate me A) for the distress you’ve caused and B) the time I’ve lost? The app apparently doesn’t allow DoorDash customer support to assign the order to some other dasher. I kept asking Matthew from customer support to help me out in some way, but not only was he responding once every 5 mins but also was pretty reluctant to help probably under the impression that he is airtight and protected by whatever company policies they have in place.

An offer was running on door dash and Resturant didn’t deliver that. On chatting with the agent, it was communicated that the matter has been escalated and I will get a revert but I believe as a policy you guys forgot, concern is regarding ‘food’ and food matters needs to be solved right away as it’s about someone’s hunger. I called the Resturant and the gentleman said they aren’t running any offer which was strange .. so Resturant got the business and door dash got a transaction .. customer went hungry, dissatisfied and is now negative for both.

You guys say it’s delivering free but at the time of payment you guys charges

The service is pretty flaky, had to order 3 times to get something delivered. The order is getting cancelled multiple times.

It’s the worst app I have ever seen. I ordered my door at 1:40 am. The app showed it will arrive in 20 min. Waited for 2 hrs. The app didn’t track anything. I had to contact support and customs care to know what was happening with my order and cancel it . They never reported what was happening with my order but canceled it when I talked with customer care. Such an irresponsible app. I would have given zero star if there is an option. But sadly one star is the minimum you can give. Just use Uber eats or grub hub. Don’t ever go for this app ever.

Today, on 26 June 2023 I placed an order from Dominos using Door Dash. The pizza NEVER arrived, the order was marked as complete, and the customer care simply refused to refund my money (they issued a partial refund of about 30%) or help me follow up with Dominos. The worst part is I called Dominos and they said they never received an order in my name!! I’ve lost money and trust with Door Dash. It has never been an issue in the past but this one time is good enough for me to never order from them again.
