Why declare the app as free with IAPs, while after the intro you HAVE to subscribe to regular payments? Looks either idiotic or cheating

Responding to the comment of the developers - I do not argue that the team should be rewarded for their work. Perhaps the price is really justified, but how can I check it if there is no trial. This is what my claim is - that there is no trial for such a high price and in my opinion my claim is absolutely justified (and judging by the reviews of other people, many agree with me). If you really think that your application is so good and unique and that a subscription is worth that kind of money, then what's the problem with doing a trial? Usually, a trial is not implemented in cases where developers are not sure about the quality of their application and try to rip off at least some money from people.
