App keeps locking my account
I’ve been prompted to authenticate/validate my account multiple times because it says I’ve entered the wrong pin, even though that wasn’t the case. It’s done the same thing again, after validating with my card and an OTP sent to me, it’s still saying the OTP is wrong. What’s the problem now?
Error updating balance
This app keeps giving the message “error updating balance “ whenever I try to check my balance. It’s been like this for weeks now.
Additionally, I’m unable to make momo transactions - as the section to pick the network operator is currently greyed out.
Generally, this app is really needs some enhancements to be more customer centric. It’s currently way behind competition.
Reached out to appreviews as directed and still no resolution
I would rate the app -100 if there was an option to. It is outdated, never updated and does not perform basic functions. Why are the standing orders on the app not reflected on online banking so I can delete the standing orders from online banking since I have been unable to delete them on the app for 4 weeks and counting? Terrible app and terrible bank slow and unhelpful at resolving customer issues. Don’t bank with Ecobank - they are not worth the stress.
My phone shuts down anytime I try to use the app

Virtual card
Please don’t use this app. If you delete your virtual card with balance , your money will disappear. Nothing can be done about it . Please avoid ecobank

Great App
I have enjoyed using the app for over 5 years now and have not experienced any problem. It is an excellent app and make banking very easy and convenient.
It will be great to include investment option and for client to buy Treasury bills and make other investments.

YOU NOW SUDDENLY NEED A HARD TOKEN TO TRANSFER!?
There’s a new rubbish update forcing the bank users to transfer online with a hard token that must be requested for. It happened suddenly and now I’m stranded. Where will I get a friggin token at 10:00 on a Friday night. I’ll now have to wait till Monday morning. Who does that? Besides who told you I want to use a hard token? Very rubbish update. I used to be a die hard Ecobank user but you guys have started behaving like that equally rubbish Zenith. If you’re reading this, reconsider your bank choice.
Stop working
The App stopped working 2 to 3 weeks ago and I could not get it back. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but no luck. I sent email to customer service. Nothing has been done to solve the issue. They keep taking money from my account for internet banking monthly and also for account keeping. What a poor service. I can’t wait to close all my accounts and find another bank.
