Do not play this game. They are flooding the game with more powerful hero's all the time. Unless you are a millionaire you will never stand a chance in this game. I've played this game for over six years. And I have spent money on this game. And newbies are more powerful than I am. This is not worth your effort. Try a different game.
Yes the game is free to play. However you will never get close to anything that you would get from purchasing and it would take you 20 years. what happened to the games that you use to play and be able to obtain all the best gear/item and hero’s just by playing and dedicating time to. I actually was really enjoying this game. There is lots of content and daily things to do. After playing for a month or two I decided that I would spend some money and made a purchase to summon epic hero’s. Nothing crazy just to see how it works and if it’s worth it. I got a total of 10 summons and used two. The next day when I logged back in to use more, I could no longer use them. Maybe one day Down the road I might be able to, but idk for sure. I requested a refund, got it and then they took 1700 gems(the main currency in the game) from my account. It’s too bad because if I actually enjoy a free game I would be willing to purchase something monthly. These developers have become so greedy with these types of games it’s kinda sad. Game deserves more than 1 star, but the pay to win aspect comes in hard on this game.
5 years ago, with a $10 investment a month you could actually do well. I got top spot in Canada many times, #8 globally once and top spot in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand as well when I was traveling. Now, people with new characters one shot you and to keep up it is extremely expensive. It must be a major money maker but I’d recommend going elsewhere.
Each month the heroes get stronger so unless you want to invest a ton of money into the game you can’t be competitive in any player vs player portions.
Legendary Troops need to be fixed: when l try to upgrade a troop to legendary, it tells me that I’m trying to upgrade a troop defending in the current league. I didn’t sign up for the league, and also the league is over.
Game was fun, high pay to play players had an advantage, but it was reasonable. But with the new hero’s, their abilities, second ascensions and emblems. You will be one shot killed every time. My alliance dropped 23 people all over lvl 80 that have played for years, they quick and remain inactive in our alliance. Their reward for paying for so many years? Terrible outdated hero’s who cannot even survive against the newer hero’s and all the stacks. The game is dying and player count has dropped significantly. Unless they do something soon that doesn’t cost money? This game will have only a few thousand players barely loggin in.

I literally started playing this, completed the tutorial and had no energy left afterwards… play style is an exact duplicate of other rpg puzzle games out there… meh at best…
So far fun but could get costly
Je me dois de faire une critique car ce jeu est devenu très grande source de frustration , à ça sortit il y a 7 ans les programmeurs faisaient en sorte que ce jeu même si ont ne déboursaient aucun argent ils y avaient une possibilité de suivre le niveau avec les héros qui nous étaient offert , aujourd’hui c’est rendu complètement l’inverse un vrai pay to win , les probabilité sont vrm en fonction du montant que tu mets dans le jeu c’est très désolant
