Files not saving, after being saved disappear, organising impossible. Deliberately unusable and disorganised to make you cash out on paid apple app “documents”

app dont sync icloud drive and there is no option for manual sync

You can better than this,I’m sure…

First, deleting files didnt actually free up the space when checking in the settings app, yes even after clearing the bin. Second, the files could not be accessed from my pc even through the horrible excuse for a program known as itunes. I wasted half my day trying to get data off of my phone, while also enduring a headache.

Which deleted my file by itself

Sometimes I can attach a file, sometimes I can’t. It’s useless.

If you try to manage lots of files or complicated pdf files, it will start slowing down or even crash. I really want it to work to manage my files stored on icloud but it is not reliable enough to be used professionally

Was working fine for months then suddenly everytime after i edit a file the app will turn black and wont save the progress. Had to re-edit my files multiple times. Tried everything from restarting my device, making sure software is updated, and the app is updated and it hasnt changed.

The app works about 50% of the time for me these days. You can literally paste a document from one folder into another and it might decide not to, and there’s no reset, offload, or update that will fix it. I really expected better out of the guys who literally made the hardware for this app. Edit: This last update has basically paralyzed the app, so I’m heading to ES File Explorer

The files app and the iCloud Drive on the iPhone are completely incompatible. While in the files app it is impossible to search for a folder or a document residing on the iCloud Drive. This is less than unhelpful on a daily basis.
