On iphone 14, The app always crashes. Fails to download files from icloud even when connected to high speed internet. Every time i open the app it takes me to folders i barely open, i expect to start at the home page of the app, or at the last opened folder.

Sluggish and crashing all the time

usually use the Apple Files app to open PDF files and take notes using the Apple Pencil. However, I’ve been facing a frustrating problem lately. Sometimes, after writing on a file, the app crashes unexpectedly and closes the file. The most annoying part is that the changes I made are not saved, so I lose all my notes. This issue doesn’t happen every time, but it happens often enough to make it unreliable for studying or important work. I hope Apple fixes this bug soon, as the app is very useful when it works properly.

The app is very convenient to annotate pdfs and syncs to iCloud at a very fast rate. However, it crashes out a lot and deletes everything I have done. Furthermore, the keyboard is delayed, whether it’s the touchscreen keyboard or a Bluetooth one.

I have lost some files, although I didn’t delete them. I can find them in the search bar but I can’t open them. I hope you find a quick solution

This app will brick your phone on ios 17. You will have no way of closing it once everything freezes, you will have to wait until the phone runs out of battery.

There is a trouble in the app since the new update, I hope it gets fixed quickly. It lags a lot and resets my work and remove some of my edits!
