GoodNotes 5 was a great App, have been using for 10 years, but 6 has lost it’s way. No new features ( coloured folder yay!???) and a $30 subscription. I’m looking to move platforms.

Great note taking app but

Wish there were layers that I can navigate between, a feature available in competing apps.

The one time only payment not available during or after the free trial

That looks like a good app that I would like to use (missing the sections from onenote but can hyperlink or outline) but the one time payment that I want to do is not available during or after the trial. Unsure how to contact the developer about it.

Battery hog

Seems to have an excessive battery draw even when the iPad is not being used. I might have to delete it as my battery is always flat, and iOS says this is the culprit.

I Haven’t Used This App For The Longest Time Because Of Trust Issues

I refuse to engage with software that I cannot trust. I thought you made it clear that our relationship was honest and devoid of any nasty surprises. Personally, I will not use apps on a subscription based platform, and, yes, it seems recently that you understand this by providing what seems like a one-off purchase to address my concerns. However, the price of admission seems unreasonably high. Add to this the real possibility that new updates might make new, unreasonable demands. I hope you can see my dilemma. I think the only way I can continue to use this app with any level of confidence would be to have it completely separate from the app I originally purchased. If I can make suggestion, why not create a separate app called something like Goodnotes AI? Please note that my review wasn’t easy to write because I enjoyed using the app when it wasn’t integrated with the add-ons included in version 6.

Delayed response after writing

Every time when I try to drag the screen it just delayed, all this happens after me getting the Goodnotes 6 5 is much better

今天更新了.然后使用就一直卡的要死写一会字.放大缩小就会卡住.我关机重启了也没用.几个小时过去了还是很卡.是这次更新的问题么........

Good but kinda confusing to use

It is really helpful once you get the hang of it, but I spent around 20+ minutes trying to figure it out and still hadn’t completely got the hang of it.

6.3.50 extreme laggy, unusable

keeps on freezing on M1 ipad pro 16g ram, no background apps.
