I purchased a 12 month subscription via Apple in Jan 24. Subsequently I cannot access my account. The troubleshooting guide didn’t work and so I contacted the developers over a week ago and have had no response. No issues with the app functionality when it worked - really useful tool. However, they seem happy to take your money but after that you are on your own.
Forcing sign in to use an note taking app is a dumb idea
The first thing you see when you open the app is the screen that forces you to sign in to Goodnotes 6. Why do I need to do that before seeing the app? And why do I need to sign in to anything to simply take my notes?
Excellent but…
I love good notes and used it daily… until I changed jobs and started working with Windows. Now my seamless workflow where I would regularly add pdfs to Goodnotes on my laptop and immediately be able to view and annotate them on my iPad is gone. There is a very clunky work around which is too much effort and doesn’t work for my workflow. Please please please find a way to allow us to sync seamlessly between windows and iOS
Keeps crashing
App keeps crashing every time I change the headings at all pls fix asap x
Best note taking app ever
This is by far the best note taking app out there. There are so many features that make it so versatile and work what ever way you take notes. I would recommend watching a YouTube video on it though as there are hidden features that add a lot that you don’t realise are there to begin with. I do wish there were separate colour pallets instead of just one collection that you had to scroll through to find the right one. As well as this although there are three pen options the brush pen doesn’t actually work well enough to use it in notes and I just end up using the ball pen and thickening up the lines manually.
Shaped writing
Please would you give us the ability to write in shapes - eg curve writing around a circle, write diagonally etc. This would give a much cleaner look when adding text to stickers etc.
Pencil pro not working
For some reason the pencil pro will only bring up the info and redo options in the palette, no tools or colours. Nothing in the settings to change it and no way to contact support that I can find
Missing basic features
The app is trying to implement AI, when it is missing the most basic feature - being able to view 2 pages at once, like an actual notebook
