Some bugs
For example when opening app from a notification the app first opens inside the task and then suddenly without animation it backs off to the main screen.
Room for improvement
I love Google Tasks but there’s room for improvement. Sharing a list with others is a must, these days.
Using for 2 years
EDIT: When I change the date on a recurring task it doesn’t ask me if I want to change all its instances and changes only the one I’ve selected. Please fix that! 🙏 (iPhone 11, version 15.6.1) The app is cool and is essentially here to cover the gap that the users were covering setting reminders on Google calendar. It’s nice that you can transfer the reminders from Calendar to Tasks right away but there is still something that Tasks needs to solve. Tasks are visible on the Calendar in browser but not in the Calendar app. So if you were used to seeing your daily meetings along with reminders for the day now this is not possible in the Calendar app yet. Another detail would be to be able to set the date for a task as today with just one click. Or maybe today should be the default date when adding a new task. Other than that the app is very smooth!
Great but needs improvements
I enjoy this app a lot. I find it however frustrating that when adding subtasks they cannot be visually minimized and appear visually along with the main tasks. As I really add a lot of subtasks it is a bit tiring to the eye. I wish there was a drop down/up feature for them.
Swipe for delete
It’d be nice in one on the next updates to fix the swipe move as a delete for done or undone tasks just like Gmail.
