Can’t verify Mobile number

Wish I could give them less than that. It can’t verify my Mobile number linked to my account. After writing hundreds of email and spending more that 20 dollars on texts still no luck. Worst part is customer service won’t understand my problem. Horrible experience.

Text message verification to use the App

How can you ask NRI customer to send a text message to Indian phone number while they are overseas just for verification so they can then use the App. Why would customer bear the cost of international text messages only because HDFC want to update their App. Most ridiculous banking app I have ever used. Gonna switch to ICICI for sure.

Extremely bad in sending OTP to international number. International CS team are poor in communication and providing support. Very bad HDFC International NRI banking service. Not happy at all after changing new phone I am not able to activate my HDFC net banking app to new phone, CS hopeless n helpless.

We decided to move three current accounts and two personal accounts to Kotak, because of HDFC’s bad mobile applications. This is by far the worst designed banking app in the world, perhaps. We have accounts in multiple countries and use a few mobile banking apps sitting in India, and they are yet so seamless. The reason we are frustrated, is also because the bad quality of their application reflects the quality of customers and clients they have and we were ashamed to be called HDFC’s corporate client and customers. The entire team working on their banking application is as useless as a lifeguard at Olympics swimming championship.

Thanks for coming back on track and improving this app. However, there are a lot improvement scope. Pls remove landline phone number dependency in profile section. No one uses landline phone nowadays.

Well I won’t say the customer service is best, because I hardly had good experience in customer service until I got personal RM assigned. But still HDFC is good bank as compare to others bank. You have lots of options to choose from. But HDFC need to improve their customer service for sure. No will answer you phone even they don’t respond to the WhatsApp messages, well the staff have overwork load then bank need to hire more staff. But I personally know people in bank will behave like they are doing our favour, but they should know it’s their job.

App has too much clutter which needs attention. U could show the accounts that are only active, too many clicks to get to the destination, lot of bugs and too slow at transacting while switching to different options. UX is terrible. While there are tons of options to get this better but HDFC seems to be not interested in investing in raising the bar.
