Worst App amongst all mobile banking apps

This is by far the worst app. The app freezes. Not a whole lot of options to do things.

An urgent enhancement request

The app is working fine (except the blank screen when logging in - so many have asked - how hard is that to make the Home screen the default?) *** Now coming to the most important enhancement that is needed - FAST ** You need to introduce the concept of nickname/personalization of account name in the app and net banking for an 1.) Account 2.) Beneficiary/Payee. This is pretty standard across banks - even nationalized banks. This is the use-case: I have multiple HDFC accounts in my name and transfer beneficiaries (with the same name but different account) - This is not an edge case. Now a couple of times I made a transfer from a wrong account to a payee because the accoubt number selected was wrong. Do you expect us to remember or look up the long account number every time when selecting a source account? Same happens when beneficiary/payee name is same. It is so cumbersome and prone to errors. I have other friends who have also faced the same issue. PLEASE update the app and/or give visibility on when this basic change would happen. PLEASE.

The app worked fine until the update to enforce linking of mobile number with the app. I have tried to do it multiple times but it every time I get the error “we are unable to verify your number”. This is either some weird glitch or whoever wrote the code messed up and did not take into account non indian phone numbers.

If we have multiple phone numbers, we are unable to login to app. Instead 1 time otp should be used to bind to device.

Pesky calls from HDFC do not stop

I’ve even filled the do not disturb form for HDFC but still the regular calls selling loans do not stop. Today I mentioned to the caller, that I would have to report the caller to HDFC and blatantly he answered “Pls Go Ahead!” Here is the number of the agent for HDFC to investigate - +91 99393 42843. Can you pls stop these calls??

This app doesn’t allow accessing my NRO/NRE accounts. It fails on authenticating a US cell phone number. It is eons behind in technology this time and age. Very disappointed!!

Unable to use new updated app and no support from customer care

I have been using hdfc app for long time when staying abroad but since they updated recently and forced to login with the registered mobile number which is not working from overseas . Why do you have to send sms from registered mobile . What if i installed app on different mobile, how can I use your app. It’s totally waste . Every time i need to login to netbanking without app. Please fix this

Always iam having problems with this app . Now it’s big problem. It’s not recognizing my primary phone number to login . And I have thumb print too. I went to the Hdfc bank . But no use I really do not know what to do . Almost 2 months Iam having trouble. Delete the app and reinstall same problem. It’s not recognized my phone number. I have not change my phone number. Iam using I phone +plus . I hate this app developer.

If you verify based on the SIM card or app is accessed only if the SIM card is in the same mobile. How come a user from abroad use it. Non sense
