Useless customer service. I booked a flights with hopper which had an option of changing the flight if i ever i needed it, i called to have my flight changed and the customer service agent tells me the airline is responsible for the change, i called the airline they say the agent has to change. At the end the agent pretty much tells me they can’t do anything and now i just lost $2000+ because they can’t change a flight they originally said they could change

Because of technical difficulties on their end I was charged for a transaction where I shouldn’t have. I called support and they were no help. Horrible app. Delays with email confirmation and assistance in the app. Do better!

Worst experience trying to get a refund which I had to request well in advance due to medical reasons. I had bought an international flight and health insurance coverage from one of their suppliers. This was my first time dealing with them. I spoke to at least 5 different agents and I got contacts and numbers that led me nowhere. They said I would need to deal directly with the airline and the insurance provider. When I finally was able to reach someone, the airline they used would only issue a credit, which would be fine if it wasn’t some random boutique airline with adhoc flights and ridiculously limited destinations and availability. When the refund was issued by the insurance supplier, they said they processed it but that Hopper will issue the refund. Given my experience with them so far, I followed up with the customer support from Hopper they didn’t even know about the refund. They asked me for proof of the email, which I sent and eventually they agreed to issue the refund. However, later that day, they followed up with an email saying they I had already passed the refund timeline but that they will issue a credit, on an exception basis! (As if they were doing me a favour 🤮) When I called them about it, they said they couldn’t reverse the credit and I could not assist me. I was stuck with the credit. Their incompetence has no limits. They can shove their credit to the deepest, darkest, corner of their A**!!!
There is nothing worse than overpaying for travel! This app helps me book my travel at the best prices. I’ve been using it consistently since ~2017. Love it!
