Easy browsing and purchasing. Apple Pay enabled and lots of QR pickup and usage options makes this an ideal travel companion. We have used this for train tickets, attractions and hotels.

Just terrible.

We thought Klook was great to easily book transportation and things to do while in Japan; especially given we could pay in our own currency. With that said though, their support is awful. We’ve had to contact them twice now, and it takes on average an hour for someone to even begin speaking with you, and on top of that they need 48 hours to even do anything with your request! The Shinkansen for Japan their agents had no idea you could go to a JR Travel Center to exchange the random seats Klook assigns you and wanted me to cancel and rebook (which would have given Klook a cancellation fee which I’m certain goes straight to them) and their policies don’t line up with Shibuya sky for re-books. They don’t allow it (Klook) but if you buy your tickets directly from Shibuya sky they allow you to rebook if weather impacted which decks were open. So it’s disappointing to see they had policies that benefited them more than their customers. Had I known this is what their support was like, I would have never booked anything with Klook. So buyer beware, especially in Japan I would recommend you buy your activities straight from the vendor rather than through Klook. And in our case we didn’t save any money either, it would have worked out cheaper to pay in local currency. I also got a response from the developer claiming that the vendors set strict terms and conditions. This doesn’t make sense as the vendors (at least for the Shinkansen and shibuya sky) didn’t have these strict terms and conditions if you bought directly from them. Klook said Shinkansen tickets can’t be changed and to cancel (which would result in Klook making ¥600) but the JR ticket office changed them at no charge. Shibuya sky would have changed our dates if we bought directly from them (and their website clearly states they allow changes up until the end of the day your reservation was for) but Klook doesn’t. One of Klooks reps even told us Klooks policies are much more strict then the vendors, so to again he told it is the vendors doing this and not Klook is so frustrating and unbelievable. Do not buy anything from Klook. Buy direct from the source, trust me you are better off!

Customer service told me to hold and I am waiting for more than a day. Hold means 5-10 min not over a DAY. Ridiculous they literally left me on read. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service and that’s impressive. I used to really like this app. If you enjoy being left on read and feeling like a jilted lover then I recommend.

Fairly straight forward and easy to use. No issues so far.

makes stuff more difficult by adding multiple tedious steps to the process. just buy your tickets on the spot or from official sites

I can’t remove names of my companion on my last booking. Can’t confirm booking with old companion’s incomplete info.
