Levels helps you see how food affects your health. Are you fueling correctly?
Your metabolic health regulates your energy levels, appetite, sleep, weight, mood, long-term health, and more. Levels helps you optimize these with real-time feedback using data from continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).
Levels is backed by advisors who are key leaders in metabolic health: Dr. Robert Lustig; Dr. Mark Hyman; Dr. Sara Gottfried; Ben Bikman, PhD; David Sinclair, PhD; Dom D’Agostino, PhD; Dr. Molly Maloof; Dr. David Perlmutter; Dr. Terry Wahls, & Dr. Gerald Shulman; and was co-founded by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Casey Means.
LEVELS CHANGES HOW PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIVES:
- “I’m far more aware of my body and its reactions to food, exercise, sleep, and stress. I feel better when I have more food choices than when I was limiting myself too much.” —Laurel Touby, 59, New York
- “I was focused on course correcting my dietary and lifestyle choices to improve my metabolic health, but I realized very quickly that it was much more than that. This is not about deprivation and what I cannot eat.” —Celia Chen, 49, Los Angeles
- “It’s the combination of intermittent fasting and using the CGM that has accelerated my metabolic health optimization. I finally feel like I’ve cracked the code on my body.” —Chris Wise, 42, Los Angeles
Everybody has health goals. Whether you’re tuning your diet, optimizing your exercise, or just trying to stay healthy, monitoring your blood glucose with Levels can help—you’ll finally be able to unlock what will work best for YOUR body.

stop messing with the app-very glitchy
Great to get readings, but app is crazy unstable, the AI locks up and if you dont have wifi, largely unusable. Really wish they would focus on simplicity and stability rather than adding bells and whistles that dont work well. Have already cancelled my cgm subscription and wont be renewing my annual subscription to the app.
Beta version is very glitchy
I’ve onboarded 3 times. It keeps shutting down and the info is not intuitively presented.
One week in
So far I have been very surprised at how much today’s fruits, that are grown to be big and loaded with sugar, spike my glucose unless I have protein and fat, like yogurt with it. Also, how processed foods spike immediately for me. I’m using Levels to get my glucose and as a byproduct weight under control. Also, I’m interested in how stable blood sugar will affect my mental health, moods, anxiety etc…
Great idea but awful execution
It would be amazing if this app delivered on the idea. Food logging is awful. They need to enter a deal with a company that has good data — let us sync with MyFitnessPal or similar that actually has better food logging data. Tons of the food information is completely incorrect. It’s a premium price for a beta version.
Also customer service is non-existent. I’ve sent four emails —only one of which got up partial response and they’ve overcharged me for the service.
Powerful health app growing features quickly
I’ve been using Levels for 11 months now, and I’m impressed at how many features they’ve added to make it more useful over time. If you are interested in quantifying your blood glucose and your metabolic health, Levels is excellent. You can combine fitness tracking, macro intake, blood glucose, and lab tests in one app. I hope they do a detailed tutorial on how to get the most out of it!
Doesn’t work
I’ve been wearing the CGM for 11 days. It works fine, but I have yet to be able to connect with the levels app. Customer service and technical support are very slow and their solutions don’t work
Love this
Helps me know what and what not to eat. Helps me stay on track
Great Information
Learn that a snapshot of your blood sugar is just that. Learn how a combination of foods affects your sugar differently. The order of foods you eat is important. The app is also full of suggestions and recipes. You can take control of your health
Changes and AI
AI is only correct about 5 % of the time. Changes make entry more complicated and time consuming. No landscape view. An obvious bias to a vegetarian mind set. Since there are few non-vegetarian recipes. With little regard to the many anti-nutrients, pesticides and herbicides present in the many vegetables sold. Even USDA organic standards keep changing allowing for the inclusion of more types of pesticides.
Crashes when trying to log
Each time you try to log food with the AI it just crashes the app…
