Where can I read how to program “my program” mode?

The previous version of the app was very slow. The current one is not usable at all. It freezes after clicking on any of my products, sometimes eve crashes. Sometimes it finally loads after way too much time, but that seems to happen only after I accidentally tap anywhere on the screen, otherwise nothing changes on the screen. I had to start using the remote again. For such a huge company this must be ridiculous. I am ready to help you guys investigate the matter if you need any additional info.

This is my 5th time reinstalling the app, last year the connection to my tv was very buggy, sometimes it would work but the majority of times the “connect phone and tv to the same network” message would show up so I gave up after the 3rd time of reinstalling. Now a year later I have the exact same issue and it’s extremely frustrating and disappointing because this time I wasn’t looking for a “smart” app just a way to not have to replace dead batteries anymore and seeing the apps performance I don’t understand how such a huge “smart” company could have such a terrible app. Honestly hope the connection issues get resolved.

Why does LG need my personal data? Why do I need to create an account with personal details just to communicate with my washing machine? App deleted. I’ll buy from another manufacturer in the future.

The app worked great until the update that was done today or yesterday now I can't access the remote it doesn't even know that my TV is on even though it's on the same network so the update did something that made it not work properly

Love this convenient service of informing you when your clothes washing and drying in the time left on each cycle. I only wish it allow you to start the washer and dryer from the app..

I’m usually a fan of smart appliances and the conveniences that they provide. But this application makes using LG smart appliances about as smooth as sandpaper and about as pleasurable as pulling teeth. I tried with all effort to link this application to my “smart” thin Q washer dryer tower. And it failed each time first it ended up in an endless loop as it couldn’t even load the instructions to connect the app to the washer dryer combo. Then it would not detect the dryer’s wifi even after following the troubleshooting shooting step of turning my WiFi off and back on again. And those are just two examples of the frustration I dealt with over an hour and a half of trying to seamlessly link my thank you app to my appliance. And that is not even mentioning the fact that it asks for your precise location when not only just trying to set up the washer dryer but every time you open the app. It is absolutely disgusting and a violation of privacy to force users to give them your precise location when trying to just simply set up and operate a home appliance such as a washer or a dryer. I understand there are some home automation tasks that benefit from knowing your location, but you do not need that information constantly nor do you need to know my precise location for those automations to work properly. This gross violation of privacy I was willing to put up with if I could’ve gotten the application to work just to be able to properly set up and adjust the settings on my washer dryer. But with such a buggy frustrating unusable mess of an application. I am not willing to put up with that additional indignity of that violation of my personal privacy. TL,DR: This is an atrocious app, that should’ve never been put out By a single programmer in a basement, let alone a company with an annual revenue of $63 billion. It is disgraceful and unacceptable to make products that rely on this app to be work properly or change settings especially when the app is this unusable and poorly maintained.
