I’ve been using Linearity Curve for at least two years now and what the actual hell are they doing, why is a free app suddenly a subscription service, and why, WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE, WHO HAS THAT KIND OF MONEY?! LIKE WHY COULDNT YOU JUST BE LIKE PROCREATE AND HAVE ONE PRICE THAT YOU PAY ONLY ONCE.

I started using this app long before the subscriptions and it was incredible. I used it for playing around with and designing fire station logos for my department, so I didn’t need the big expensive adobe programs or correl draw. Just something easy to use and free to play with. This fit the bill perfectly! Super user friendly, easy to use and free! Now for the troubles… Subscription… I had a ton of projects and art boards that got locked out due to the new model and I had to delete a lot of older projects that I didn’t want to get rid of so I could work on newer ideas. As things changed more features got locked out and made it harder and harder to be a “free” user on a program that started out as a free program. I want to love it as much as I used to but due to the new model (which business wise I get…) it’s become very difficult to be a hobby designer and use it to play with every once in a while.
