Disappointed
You can’t do much without paying unfortunately and the pro version is not powerful enough to be worth it. I had a great experience overall with curve but the free version is now useless🤷🏼♂️

Curve was good, although it wasn’t as precise it was a really awesome app making any sort of vector work accessible. ••• Then comes the new cloud to force the user to store all projects on their cloud (which is frustrating as it’s so damn confusing having separate clouds for everything). ••• Then comes the incredibly expensive subscription with serious limitations for not having it. ••• I get that development isn’t free and takes a lot of time, but I wish the introduction to a paid service would have been done differently. ••• As it is right now all the work I’ve done I can’t access because I have way more project then whats allowed for free users. All the drawing I made for my sewing project with measurements can’t be opened because I have to many projects, I would need to be able to open them and flip between and make adjustments to the measurements to be able to even start my sewing project. ••• I’m not a business making a lot of money on this. I’m unable to work because of ptsd and chronic headaches, on a good day I am able to try to make a progress to my projects. It has been a really great way to distract from the flashbacks and also learn more about drawing. Sometimes it’s months between when I open the project to continue. ••• Besides the sewing I’ve been drawing vectors that was supposed to be used as stencils, cut out by my old “wish blade” machine. Which have just been completely in vain as I can’t no longer even export as svg. ••• I guess I could make some sort of workaround moving files back and forth too and from the curve cloud and try to squeeze out svg files and copies of the work to be continued elsewhere. But it’s just too much with a headache when feeling totally deflated of energy due to flashbacks going haywire. ••• If it costed $20 for a lifetime access it would feel doable, but not $120 for a year or even $60 for a year, when again it’s sometimes month between times I have the energy for it. ••• If I were a designer business paying monthly it would make more sense, but there isn’t a middle ground option. Offering a limited amount of service for one upfront payment, or different subscription levels for different users. ••• Adobe illustrator 125 SEK per month and curve 199 SEK per month. I discovered vectornator (now curve) because paying for illustrator is way out of my price range, but if I had to pay for either why would I choose Curve who I lost a lot of trust for, as they suddenly throwed in limitation makin
A review for them all
Since the April 22 update I am no longer able to access MY CREATIVE PROPERTY created on this previously free app. Now the ONLY way to access MY CREATIVE PROPERTY are to pay a ransom fee. So basically ransomware. Great job dev team…
Vectornator days was the best app, i used to rely on this app on daily basis. Nowadays its paid after 3 canvases and the naming scheme is confusing. Good project gone bad :/
Curve, formerly known as Vectornator, already had features such as "support for custom fonts" and other features that are now locked behind subscription. How about you relaunch Vectornator with a reasonable one-time cost instead. The app already had the features I needed.
Best app and it’s free with a lot of options for use. I love it
Coming from using Adobe Suite and working as a professional vector art designer for several years, I must say I am really impressed. It does not have everything and every tool you might wish for, but with a bit of cleverness, it can surely create everything you wish for. Good job! ❤️
It used to be very great but now whenever I open it to edit something I made it keeps trying to push this linearity cloud thing on me and can’t get past it. Become of this the app is unusable
