This app used to be free and I was able to make as many files as I wanted now it limits me to 3 and I have to pay to export my files, what a rip off.
Opened “Linearity” (Linearity Curve? Vectornator? This is now the third or fourth name change) to discover that hundreds of files are now locked behind a paywall. Projects that I finished years ago with the free, yet extremely glitchy Vectornator app are no longer accessible unless I purchase an upgraded plan. So the new business strategy is to blackmail your original users into funding your expansion? I don’t mind making the decision to pay for a useful application going forward, but I definitely won’t be forced into doing so to access previous files. As a creative cloud customer, I see that my files are not safe with with Linearity as Adobe has never taken projects hostage for ransom. It is sad that I will now have to pursue legal action to retrieve my business files.
WI started learning when this app was Vectornator and then they made the horrible switch to linearity(does not roll off the tongue well at all). This only made it hard for me to look up tutorials and just changes they started making along the way made it difficult to use in general. I went back in after a hiatus, and come to find out that it is now subscription based. What a horrible idea…and the limit amount or the number of uses of a feature is just plane ridiculous. either have it be a one time fee or don’t but terrible move on you guys.
This was a great app. two owners ago. Since the switch to Linearity it’s just become a bloated and inefficient nuisance. It’s sad that they were once an excellent and lightweight alternative to Adobe, but have since lost their identify in the pursuit of profit.
I've heard great things about this app from a couple of years ago and I suspect all those things are true, but when I downloaded it I found it is following the trend of great apps going downhill fast. I would like to create VECTOR GRAPHICS. You absolutely should NOT need my email or my name or my Google account or whatever to allow me to do so. I suspect this app has been ruined anyways just by seeing the first screen, and I will not pursue it further. I might come back in a couple years, perhaps you will have removed this by then.
Claims to import svg. But after download, install, signup, verification, there is nothing but attempt to upswell. First give what is promised before asking to buy. No thanks.
Lost they touch with the subscription fees Since the change to curve it has been a great app till most recently they add subscription that limit you from being creative.
I fell in love with this app the moment I downloaded it months ago and began using it to import and export higher quality and SVG logos. However, since the release of the subscription, it has become difficult to work on anything or even export anything because a subscription is now required. The fact that the only app I could have used to get better at graphic design now requires a subscription is annoying. I will not be using it for the time being.
Plz fix this problem
