Linearity Curve Graphic Design

This made me switch from adobe Illustrator to vectonator

I am reallu enjoying using this. Been a photoshoip and illustrator user before, and then moved to Inkscape. Now this one. So far, everything has been working pretty well for me, except that when you rezize your artwork or reopen the file, the art works are found to be displaced. That's the only annoying buggy sitation i have come across and it really takes up your time rearranging your design artwork pieces. It could be awsome tool if that issue has been resolved.

Many programs like Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Figma, XD, Sketch have intuitive and familiar UI to get started as begineer. This program is totally a nightmare. Maybe some illustrators can have some advantage of it but product designers will have a diffucult time using it. Illustrator file opened as a flat non-editable file which is totally misleading from the its feature list.

I downloaded the app because they wrote about Illustrator imports working, but it doesn't seem to work.

I started using this app long before the subscriptions and it was incredible. I used it for playing around with and designing fire station logos for my department, so I didn’t need the big expensive adobe programs or correl draw. Just something easy to use and free to play with. This fit the bill perfectly! Super user friendly, easy to use and free! Now for the troubles… Subscription… I had a ton of projects and art boards that got locked out due to the new model and I had to delete a lot of older projects that I didn’t want to get rid of so I could work on newer ideas. As things changed more features got locked out and made it harder and harder to be a “free” user on a program that started out as a free program. I want to love it as much as I used to but due to the new model (which business wise I get…) it’s become very difficult to be a hobby designer and use it to play with every once in a while.

Linearity Curve is an outstanding app for vector design. Its intuitive and smooth interface makes it easy to create professional-quality illustrations and graphics without any hassle. The tools are precise, powerful, and user-friendly, making it a great alternative to more complex software. Plus, its integration with Linearity Move and other platforms adds even more versatility. Highly recommended for designers and creatives!

I’ve been with Linearity Curve way before the name change and the choice to go subscription based. Still the best apps out to do vector art. Every tool you need right at your finger tips (or pen tip). The learning curve is easy as they provide you with in depth details to accomplish the task you’re looking for. I’m no pro but I enjoy designing for myself and friends and Linearity has changed my entire workflow for the better. Thank you to the LC team!

I held on to Vectornator as long as I could, but IpadOS18 broke that and refused to launch. I was avoiding the rebrand+Change to subscription model that forces you to create an account to log in. No way to export/convert your Vectornator work without creating a login. This behavior is unethical, and will influence decisions on apple and software products moving forward. I hope that others can see the issues with the current state of software and subscriptions and can make informed decisions moving forward.
