I can’t get logged into the app. Followed all the suggestions, the last one being delete the app and reinstall. Using the log in screen I enter email and password. Next screen says “Getting router settings”. After approximately 30 seconds the screen refreshes and shows the login screen AGAIN! Validated email and password, I’m using the correct information.
a nice reliable app that lets you work with the router(s) in simple effective ways. i am an average user who isnt into too advanced controls or automations, so this apps interface and features are at right level of detail and its design is easy to work with. i've been using this for over five (5) years and no hesitation to redo with same line of products if i ever have to upgrade. i run two Linksys (dual channel) nodes in my home hardwired to each other for fastest bandwidth and full coverage throughout home. The two Linksys nodes connect to my main modem and operate as a second wifi in addition to my service providers router modem wifi.
99% of the time I tried to rename a device or change his icon, the app keeps loading. There is no way of getting out but to close the app entirely and start over until it work. Linksys, Seeing all the bad reviews for the last months why don’t you just fix and update the app once and for all?
Go back to the drawing board, please. You clearly know what you’re doing but you’ve gone too far past being able to make minor modifications to keep up. It’s time to fully redesign this from the ground up. It’s laggy, often unresponsive, gets stuck loading minor changes like name or icon of devices, requiring relaunching regularly, and worst of all, it’s App Store privacy policy doesn’t say the one acceptable thing for it to say, which would be “Data not collected”
I just upgraded to a new Linksys mesh system. The hardware is working fine with this app is trash in so many ways. It needlessly bumps me out of the app, and I have to sign in again. I tried to change the name and icon for various connected devices. Sometimes the app saves it within a second or two. But mostly it spins indefinitely and gives up. Frequently, when I hit the back arrow on a certain page, the app is completely unresponsive. I have to force quit the app in order to get any response.
This used to be a decent app. Now it repeatedly requests me to log in. When I manage to log in, testing the router-to-internet speed just hangs indefinitely on the ping test. Trying to exit that test crashes the app and asks me to log in again. So although the router continues to be superb, the app is worse than useless. Too bad negative star ratings aren’t possible.
Ridiculous how the app shows your active and offline devices. But yet you can't even delete any devices from the list, so why not fix the problem?.
Slow! No response! Always data not saved please try again!
Shows my 4 nodes on the home screen. When you click on the nodes button, looks for them, but blank screen. Reinstalled. Restarted… Still won’t show my nodes on different devices. Been through tech chat - still no resolution. Been this way since the most recent update.
