App is diabled
The routers themselves are fine. Could do with some more power user features (on board VPN for instance) but hardware is pretty good. This app is a piece. After adding the router, the app hangs forever even though the router light is blue. Routers take forever to show in the app (honestly, none of my additional APs have shown yet after hours).
Can’t see the Linksys router, won’t log in, won’t do anything, useless app.
Can’t find it in the menu anymore. Also, there should have been a button to re-mount the hard disk when it’s down.
Is there an issue with the app on the iPhones thus us second time it happened blank Pages
App keeps crashing. And when it is working I can do anything because every 30 seconds it’s searching for a router connection. Fix the bugs please
Linksys forces use of this app to set up with iPhone. App keeps saying connection not detected for set up. Obv am connected since able to download this app with the temp login on router sticker. Just let us set up via website!
I had to reinstall the app multiple times before it would work correctly. Not to mention the velop nodes themselves wouldn’t connect. You can’t brand yourself as ‘easy to use’ when it was actually easier to drill holes in my walls and run Ethernet than it was to get Linksys to work.
The app is, mostly, quite poor. It is painfully slow, a problem made much worse by bad UI design that requires lots of taps to navigate around. For example, if you pick the wrong menu item for the feature you are looking for, when you back up you are dumped back to the main screen with the menu closed and you have to re-open it and start all over again. Screen after screen works that way. Changes are slow to save and often result in a blank “saving…” screen that never goes away and requires you to kill the app. When you open the app, you’ll often be greeted with a blank “logging out…” screen that also never goes away and requires you to kill the app. And table-stakes features don’t work. Want to see what’s connected to your network? Good luck. There is a screen for this, but it will be filled with devices that you may not even own any longer, and it will claim devices are on WiFi when they are on Ethernet and vice versa. It will show you devices that are online but not be able to give you their IP address. It’s hilariously wrong about the type and even manufacturer of the devices it finds on your network. And you can’t search online devices by IP address or MAC address, so if you are looking for a specific device (for example to set up parental controls for it) you’ll enjoy painfully tapping on every device in the list to find the one you are looking for. And when it’s the wrong one, you have to wait for it to reload the list and it doesn’t even remember where you were, so you have to hope you can remember which randomly-named thing you tapped on last to resume your search. And the re-scan button doesn’t do anything. This avoids a one-star rating because if you can endure all that, you can use the app for some basic network administration. So it could be worse. But that would be pretty difficult.
please add support for iPadOS support for landscape mode.
