Network settings
I am using this opctical fiber network witch aparently it’s working well, but sometimes the internet just drops down and the boosters can’t see or reconnecting the network.You have to do it by your self, and many times give you errors. Its a bit sad when you take the best offer from the provider because I am playing online games, and in the middle of the game … boom … no internet. It happens a few times now .
I will see if deserves to stay with the company or just change it .
Very poor app
Freezes or loops all the time. Have to manually close it and restart it every time I use it. Hangs if you change a device icon, or if internet hick-ups. Logs me out frequently. Pretty useless really.
Linksys App
Have a Gigaclear service with a Linksys node. Unfortunately that means you need this app. This app is AWFUL. It never seems able to react to commands. When it eventually does it takes ages (spinning wheel syndrome) and then just crashes. I have to restart it continuously.
Couldn’t connect router to App
Ok this is an update on a previous review.
I had a problem getting the App. to connect to the router. I contacted Richard on the chat and it turns out I needed to use the admin. password and not my WiFi password 🙄.
I used the recovery code to reset the admin password and now is all ok. While doing this my link to the chat was lost…so thanks very much Richard 👍👍👍

Excellent app. Easy to use.
Freezes when changing settings.
What is does and how it is presented is great but it freezes all the time. So many bugs. Every time I change a setting, rename a linked device or change its icon the app freezes when making a save. Have to re start it constantly. Setting up the nodes took ages as the app is slow slow to find them and took many attempts to set them appropriately. Not very impressed but all working in the end.
Terrible App!
Most of the time when using the screen is totally non responsive, and it is so laggy it’s almost unusable sadly, as the products work well, just let down by a useless app, that doesn’t matter how often you update its remains terrible!

I PAY FOR 500 MBPS.... BUT ONLY GET 50 THROUGH MY LINKSYS VELOPS MESH SYSTEM. GO ELSEWHERE. I am extremely disappointed with your company. I had put a lot of trust in Linksys, and purchased the triband home mesh, that worked ok for a while. I then wanted to extend the system as I had purchased a larger home, so last week I purchased BOTH another set of 2 home mesh and a new router (the MR9600). Despite having AX6000 as the model number on the very front of the box!!! I spent about 20 minutes insisting that my model number was AX6000 of course she couldn't find it. Its an MR9600 which can be found in very small type on the base of the box. It seems neither my new mesh extenders OR my new router WORKS WITH my Velops home mesh I bought earlier... so your systems are incompatible with each other or simply don’t re-locate the bands, according to your employee. Then.... I call back a second time (after my first 3 hours on with your support person) I call the SAME NUMBER using the the same SUPPORT TICKET NUMBER.... this time I'm told.... OH! you're not in the USA, where are you.... you must call the South Africa number! I tell her I am not in South Africa or even in Africa! and that the US number helped me for 3 hours last night and told me to call back on the same number! she insists I call Cape Town.... basically GO AWAY. I call Cape Town to be told due to COVID they are not answering the phone! YOUR PRODUCTS AND YOUR SERVICE HAS BEEN A COMPLETE LET DOWN. I pay for 500mbsn am now left with a half cobbled system getting 50 mbps. Seriously thinking about throwing the entire collection of your stuff in the bin…. After many hundreds of dollars.
A very very simple thing like converting between bridge and extender turns into war and peace.
You could make this system so easy and simple by plug n play.
No always as helpful as others
It took some time to find out that when the app says that your router password is incorrect it is in fact trying to force you to change it! This is exacerbated by the fact that the router SSID is not displayed so it's not possible to be sure that the router it has found is yours and not one of the ten or so neighbour's routers that naturally show up when linking to wifi.
