Very stubborn and slow. Not really a pleasure working with it. Installation procedure fails again and again 😩
The mesh network is unstable and the app buggy. I‘m about to something else, which will probably cost much less.
I have been buying the Velop system for a long time (i have old and new nodes) and used to be a very very satisfied customer. I even wrote love messages to the corporate Design team back in Asia (after researching them on LinkedIn) praising the incredible app-based setup experience… till about a year ago. Besides the HORRIBLE rebranding that defies the laws of communication design, every interaction with Linksys (part of Belkin???) is now just a disaster: firmware updates brought network instability, ridiculously unaccessible app half of the time, numerous app bugs, poor customer support where i regularly waste a minimum of 2 HOURS with a remote operator to go through the same old protocol crap. What the heck is going on at that company? CX is going down the drain. -from an ex-extatic customer of yours
It could be an awesome app to manage you velop mesh network but it just has to many bugs and it never gets fixed. since more than a year i’m struggling with parental control. you try to stop it to download something or grant the kids some more hours on youtube and you get an unexpected error. please linksys, get this stuff fixed.

5 nodes. Randomly one or more of them go offline. They connect to each other randomly, then go offline, and the connect to each other in a different way. In the meantime, nothing works. Devices disconnect and end up connecting to whatever node happens to be online (not the closest one, just the first one to be online). HomeHubs end up connecting to the worst possible node, causing all of it to be slow. Dozens of complaints and feedback. Responses from Linksys: zero. I think they do it intentionally?
Chaque mise à jour de leur système, vous êtes bon pour tout redémarrer. L’application est pas extraordinaire et accessoirement lorsqu’on fait un logo comme ça, il faut peut-être penser à changer de business …
Unbrauchbare Software für überteuerte unzuverlässige Geräte - lasst die Finger davon! Wirkliche Netzwerkadministration und Fehlersuche ist nicht möglich, der Neustart eines Nodes dauert mehrere Minuten und erfordert das Mobiltelefon in der Nähe des Nodes - und länger als 2 Wochen lief bei mir noch keiner der 4 Nodes ohne Störung.
Dommage mon application se fige après 30 secondes sur mon iPhone. Je ne peux pas configurer correctement ma borne, il est impossible d envoyer un message depuis l’application pour informer le système de la problématique.
