Linksys

Sometimes the mesh system refuses to accept the (unchanged, saved in the phone) password and returns the “incorrect password” message which is actually not the case. Not sure yet if it depends on the node, or affects only iPhones or also other devices. Very annoying though, mostly “forget network” and reenter password trick helps, but not always.

It was indeed easy and straightforward to set up the mesh system, but when I just check or want to modify some settings, the app just rotates the circle (the new icon for the good old hourglass) and does not save the setting. Does not freeze, but does not do the requested task either. This happens both on my iPhone 7 and my iPhone 11. I know, both are old now, but it still should work.

Super is the app

I have tried several home routers of various brands and while their basic operation was acceptable, I have seen significant differences in wifi coverage and manageabilty. Linksys is doing a very good job in these areas, I am very happy with the experience they offer.

Nem kell semmiféle 40 ezer forintos okos otthon főegység. Csak a router egy profil meg egy telefon. Király!
