Keep a close eye on issue

Initially I thought this app was a great way to track calories/ kilojoules. Be aware the nutritional data is not always accurate. For instance: “Coffee with milk and sugar” shows “caffeine = n/a”, another example “Mixed grain bread” shows nutritional info but if selecting “mixed grain toast” all nutritional data is “n/a” therefore no calculated nutritional input to your daily intake. The promoted 2025 new user sale price for premium membership did not be applied, full price was charged.

Gone downhill

Used before a few years ago and was good Now just spams ads, very annoying, deleted using another app

Voice tracking feature is amazing

The voice tracking feature on this app is very very helpful and allows me to track or complicated recipes without too much of a hassle. Sometimes the macros of the ingredients are a little bit off, and there is micro nutrient summary, but apart from that it wonderful

Using Lose It for total diet monitoring

OldFartInLycra on

As an oldie who is 70kg wringing wet, I've been using Lose it for several months, monitoring everything. When one consciously sees the impact of consuming various foods, alcohol and doing exercise, it it easy to adjust to healthier ways without being dejected at cutting out this and that. Easy to use, becomes habitual and makes it easier talking to your GP and/or nutritionist about where you are at with your living style. The only thing I'm curious about is why measuring calcium didn't make it to what is otherwise an outstanding app. For we 70+'s, calcium is a critical part of our diet. If possible I'd like to see Calcium measure in some near future release of this excellent app. Cheers

Great app but one big issue

Love this app, happy I paid for the lifetime subscription as it’s so worth it to keep my eating on track. My only issue is lately I have been getting bonus calories but by the end of the day it takes them away (and more) and then I seem to be in a calorie surplus. I can’t seem to find a way to fix this, especially as I want to leave my workouts in my log. Hopefully this can be fixed. Other than that it’s a great app. Would love to be able to add more Icons for food types and to easily move meals to another date.

Surprised

I have to say I like this app way better than other apps for logging weight loss measurements. I have the premium and I like it when I can customise it to how I like it

Paywall

Used to be the best food tracking app, I had paid for a year premium and then the pricing went up too much. Now I’ve gone to use the scan feature was previously free only to find it is paywalled. Removing features makes people lose trust in the app

Essential features paywalled

Used to be great - with a well designed interface and large food database. I’d even paid for ad free access. However over time, they’ve been pushing harder and harder towards the ridiculously expensive subscription option. And now they’ve moved the barcode scanning feature - a basic essential feature of any tracking app - behind a paywall. There’s better app options out there now which provide this functionality for free, so it’s goodbye from me.

Too many fullscreen ads

j1497 on

Ad riddled junk now looking for a different app that doesn’t keep interrupting me with full screen interstitial ads while i am trying to enter food

Absolute garbage

They make you answer a ton of questions to gather data that isn’t really needed just so you can use a calorie counter that doesn’t work…
