Plusieurs choix de voix et super bien structuré!!!
I dropped a review before where I discussed an issue, but it has been cleared and I am now giving a new review. The app is still good, very good, and the subscription is worth the purchase. I've been told the voices sound a bit robotic, but I disagree; they are life-like and various updates have been made, adding new animated voices. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and prefer the neutral voice 'Elizabeth', because similar to subtitles, as you become immersed in the story your mind substitutes for intonation. I have tried various reading/speaking/listening apps and this is the best thus far, with only one drawback in comparison: it doesn't allow for ambient noise in the background. The feature to play music in the background while reading would truly make this app top-tier. Please, please, please add an ambient noise feature, I'm begging you!!
Easy to use, versatile with multiple types of documents and with quite a decent OCR! I just wished there could be better integration to have webpages read to you on a phone. 🙂
There’s no excuse for requiring a $16+ MONTHLY charge for better voice
Horrible I have autism and I need stuff to be read back to me becuase I cannot sit still to focus for a long period of time and I have to lay money just to be able to understand things longer than a paragraph, I don’t like the 5 minute a day thing
nice tone
As someone who's more of an auditory learner (and let's be real, whose peepers aren't always up for the task), I've absolutely fallen head over heels for NaturalReader. 😍 This app has been a total game-changer for me, allowing me to consume content in a way that feels as natural as breathing. (Hence the name, am I right?) Using NaturalReader is a breeze – simply take whatever text you need to be read, and voila! 🎉 The app takes care of the rest, transforming those squiggly lines into soothing sounds for your eager ears. Now, I do have one tiny bone to pick. 🦴 I'd love to see a future update that allows me to send text directly from my email app and have it magically appear in NaturalReader, ready to be read aloud without any extra steps. I mean, I can dream, right? Oh, and if I could somehow get it to work with Shortcuts for some automation magic, I'd be doing my happy dance all day long! 💃 But even with that minor annoyance, NaturalReader still manages to outshine its competitors in my book. 📚 So, if you're looking for an app that speaks to you (quite literally), give NaturalReader a try. Your eyes (and ears) will thank you! 😉
With the way, my brain works this app has enabled me to function in a fast-paced workplace. The reason I choose this one and use it over others is that you can incorporate the images. I’m in an industry where I’m constantly referencing visual images with the text and other apps, take the visual images out. The one thing I’ve struggled with is trying to download anything and reading it in areas where I don’t have the Internet. I have not been successful with that so far. In addition, the voices are superb. Great job NaturalReader.
Excellent for creating guided meditation scripts for yourself or making presentations. Pretty much anything where a voice other than your own seems more fitting. If you do happen to want to hear things read in your voice? You can easily clone it in the proper tone you would like and do that too! Lots of languages and from what I can tell, they’re not only realistic, but intonations often fall right where you want them too. If they don’t, simple punctuation adjustments typically do the trick.
Works great for studying and reading im general. Find it to be wildly overpriced
