For the first 5 days of my trip, Nomad was wonderful. I had used about 60% of my data and since i had 2 days left on my trip, i thought it’d be enough. Then within hours my data was gone even though i used it like i used every day. There was no warning for my data ending after 60%, so i didn’t even think this was the reason my connection was gone. Anyway, reluctantly i had to top up once i found stable wifi. Firstly, even though there’s a promo code right now, it didn’t let me use it because “i was topping up” (not buying from scratch) which was ridiculous. I was always able to use promo codes in other services. Secondly, the topping up made me reinstall a new eSIM, instead of continuing from the existing old plan. This was also ridiculous, i was able to use the same eSIM (of the same country) no matter how many times I topped up from other services. The connection was decent for Italy. But these issues made me lower the score, because i couldn’t explain the sudden data drain and having to reinstall a whole new plan to my phone instead of continuing the old one etc.
