Nomad eSIM: Prepaid Data Plan

Bought a 20g plan but it stopped working after 10g. If you are only offering 10g, why charge 20g.

I had a terrible experience with Nomad eSIM customer service. They replied with one-liners every time, offering no resolution at all. If you're on a short holiday and encounter technical issues, avoid Nomad at all costs. I can almost assure you that by the time you're back in your home country, they still won't have assisted you promptly.

The regional plan High latency in countries like Japan, Korea, Indonesia. Turtle speed even with a full bar of 5G signal on docomo or au KDDI. It’s cheaper than competitors, but not great.

Use Nomad for overseas travel is super convenient and easy. Simple configuration and it works like magic.

I am stranded in San fran. The data qr activation code hasnt been working for days and help desk takes forever to respond. DO NOT go with nomad

At first, I encountered difficulties finding the QR code in my email. I attempted to reach out to online support but only encountered an automated AI support, and unfortunately, it couldn't provide a solution. The online chat feature proved to be ineffective. Additionally, upon turning off airplane mode, it took several minutes for the network connection to fully establish. Even selecting a nickname oso so difficult as it’s always prompt taken.

Overall, I am happy. However, initial connection was frustrating. The app says I m not activated. However, I was receiving WhatsApp. Also, the telco name was different. I was afraid that I may be connected to the wrong network. But once it was working, it was great.

I have hard time to activate the eSIM. Worst now it give me problem with my main sim. Waste my money and give so much trouble than convenience

Coverage is good. No hiccups.

Data worked initially for a few hours but failed subsequently. Tried all the FAQs and suggestions but could not get it to work. Troubleshooting was not helpful also the help kept repeating the suggestions from the FAQs (which I already tried) and required an internet connection to work - which I did not have since the original E-SIM was not working. Resorted to purchasing a separate e-sim from another app which worked much better.
