Unbelievable

This app has grown so much. Everytime I think to myself “I wonder if…” I find the feature I’m looking for is baked right in. One of the best values on the App Store by far.

blender integration PLEASE OMG

i’m not gonna lie, this is probably the app on my ipad that gets the most use by FAR. the workflow feels so natural and fluid and i love every aspect of it. the only thing that i would change at all is when i export to blender, certain things don’t translate. the names of some objects get lost, pivot points are wildly janky, and i can’t help but think we could do better? i’m not sure how things like that work on the coding side but because blender is open source i would think it’d be fairly simple to even make a blender plugin for pc that allows blender to import the nomad file format. thank you SO much for this incredible app tho

Great but autosave..

I really love this app. It’s very beginner and user friendly but may crash when using certain tools depending on your device so be careful. Overall, it’s a really good app and I’ve enjoyed it so far. The only issue I have is AUTOSAVE! The autosave isn’t the autosave that we’re used to. Instead of actually automatically saving your progress every few minutes, you have to manually turn on autosave prompts which it is just giving a prompt to save your work every few minutes of your choosing, which will disrupt what you’re doing. So if you’re used to typical autosave, then hopefully you remember to save your work before closing out. And hope the app doesn’t crash and delete everything you’ve worked on🫠

Um..

I usually love apps that are similar to art, but this is horrible. First off, you have to find a tutor to teach you how to use Nomad Sculpt because its too hard. If you use an Apple Pencil, it barely makes a dent in the “clay”. I think Pro create is much better than this “app”. When you add a shape to your sculpture and you want to move the shape, the whole screen moves instead. The coloring tool does not do anything if you fill in the color. You have to shade it in yourself. Auto Save is disgustingly bad. It absolutely does not save your progress so far, it saves what you did at the very start. So if you want to download this app, find a tutor and don’t use an Apple Pencil. Your welcome.

Awful UI changes

I was loving this app but the latest UI changes have ruined it. The symmetry button is harder to reach, and the material selection menu is now bloated and makes things hard. Please let me change it back to the way it was.

Great app but missing one important thing

Very powerful, easy to learn and well executed sculpting app. It’s missing one feature… AUTO SAVE! Please add this!

The most enjoyable sculpting program for iPad

Seishino on

As someone who does a lot of 3D printing, I really like the ability to create sealed 3D objects with a clay-ish pen interface. It’s surprisingly powerful. Now, be aware it’s also a huge interface that can be a pain at times… I don’t know if I’d say it’s bad, just that the default is 9 separate trays with 64 icons, some of which scroll to even more icons, and that’s *before* you get to menus. So it’s a Photoshop-level interface. But it also lets you create satisfyingly organic printable objects without using most of those interface options. If you enjoy making prints, it’s totally worth it.
