This app keeps failing to connect with my processor. To rectify the fault I have to delete it and reinstall. Problem went away after a recent Apple update but now it’s back. This is extremely frustrating
I’ve been using the Nucleus Smart app with my Nucleus 8, and I couldn’t be more pleased! The app is user-friendly, intuitive, and makes managing my device so much easier. I especially appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with my everyday routine and provides real-time feedback on my hearing performance. One feature I’d love to see added is a reminder system for equipment maintenance, specifically for changing the microphone cover. It would be fantastic if, after I change it today, I could set a reminder for three months later to get a notification when it’s time to change it again. This would ensure optimal performance without having to remember the schedule manually.
The app no longer connects to my cochlear. First it signed me out every time. Aftr uninstalling and reinstalling it worked for a bit but now gets stuck on the “connecting” screen. Why hasn’t an update been rolled out?
Non stop issues with this app. We aren’t talking about gaming here, we are talking about an app related to a disability. I’m constantly told to restart my phone (latest iPhone), reinstall the app (time consuming). We pay a fortune for our implants and expect better support .
It seems that the battery percentage is not working on the app. It keeps showing battery at 80% when it has been fully charged and my CI processor battery goes flat just minutes after it showing at 80%. Therefore I am not being warned when my battery is low.
I'm frequently near my child, who wears the processors throughout the day. My phone, with the app running in the background, stays close. Despite regularly opening the app, the hearing tracker updates its stats irregularly. Occasionally, it's a day behind, and on occasions like today, it's been about 36 hours since the last update. Despite this, all other app functions work smoothly, indicating the connection to the processors is stable.
I’m very grateful to even have this feature, but an upgrade and proper revamp of the speed, capabilities, and look of the app is really needed.
Hi, has something changed? Previously I was able to change streaming settings to both my devices simultaneously. I have and still have ‘adjust independently’ off in the system settings and Bilateral control is also off in the Nucleus app. In Control Centre it now shows separate entries for Left and Right for TV Streamer. On iPad as well. I have recent N8s, latest iOS and have re-downloaded the app. I’ve tried turning off/on unified control but no luck. Suggestions? I suspect an iOS update.
I have recently upgraded to Nucleus 8 and was excited to be able to use phone and smart app to control my processors and not have to use the remote accessory. However finding the app regularly saying that it cannot detect my processors, to switch them on and being into range. They are on. Quite problematic as I now have mini mic 2+ and cannot control it easily.
