Oura Reviews

Junk

Shan9453 on

I wore the ring for at least a couple of years and it consistently would miss large chunks of my sleep. For example, I would go to bed at 9 PM and wake up a few hours later at one to go to the bathroom and in the morning it would say I was awake from 9 until 1. If I took a nap during the day, it was almost never identified.. I really didn’t trust any other data I was given.

Workouts not logged

Can’t add workouts and it’s not reading them.

New update is cluttered

SGMAP on

United States

Using my Oura ring for over three years. I have appreciated the upgrades to the app and new features. However, the latest upgrade (downloaded 1/4/25) Appears very cluttered and busy. I would appreciate an option to collapse the badges across the top or the timeline at the bottom.

Again…

Again, are you letting men design the cycle part of the app? It’s been updated but still doesn’t make sense. Whoever did this doesn’t understand that we have different flow levels on different days. Technically the period starts at any “pink”. It then gets heavier. It then slows down. Then stops. Or any other number of other flow sequences this app can’t record. All the software pieces are there. They just don’t operate in period logic. It’s not rocket science. Let women design this.

Need to improve the free version of the app

Already charging premium for the ring, include more features on the free level.

Mehhh.

Its a cool concept but falls short in many ways. With the new update it doesn’t record my naps anymore. Yes, the ring fits my finger so tight It’s difficult to get off. It also thinks I’m asleep when I’m not sometimes. The sleep/readiness scores are on point about 75% but I’ll get a readiness score of 60 but yet feel amazing all day. Other times I’ll get a readiness score of 92 and feel exhausted all day. If you have the $$ do it. But if not, I wouldn’t.

Mostly love, but some glitches still.

Mostly love the app, but if it can provide an average pulse oxygen reading, why not show how low it might go? Also, meal logging feature needs much work. Often I log a meal, and data disappears, then when I try to report an issue, that page flashes up for a brief second, and disappears. But food, cocoa, so much impacts sleep and even oxygen levels, it would be nice if it actually worked. (The scan feature is quite accurate, but still needs many details added, like ingredients, if I remember to do so before eating!)

Poor integration with Apple health

Taptrap on

United States

Requires a subscription to sync anything to Apple health, and then still doesn’t sync all of the data that they track. Much of the sleep data is locked down in the app and SpO2 and HRV don’t sync to Apple at all. All this means that any history you build with Oura stays with Oura.

Very disappointed

I got the oura 4 for Christmas this year and connected it to my iPhone, although I got a new iPhone for Christmas as well. A couple days later I went and turned my new iPhone on.. came home and tried to switch my ring to my new phone and the ring isn’t lighting up in anyway nor will it allow me to switch it. Wouldn’t show my data in the app. At first I thought it was my charger for the ring, the charger lights up and appears to come on and work just fine. It’s the ring that I’m not getting any light or any sign of connectivity out of. Contacted customer support via email and still have heard nothing in almost 48 hrs! Amazon is who the ring was purchased through, so called the customer service and the only option they will give me is for me to ship it back and then once they receive it they will issue me a refund. I just wanted a new ring. Not my money back! I’m highly upset that I also have to wait for them to receive my ring and then me to receive another after i go and order it! I’m highly unhappy with the fact oura can’t be contacted via phone and only email as well!
