Not working
As of today the app just won’t open. Spends maybe 20 seconds sitting there with a blue screen and the ring logo; then shuts down. I tried clicking “app support” here and it went to a page that’s not working either. Anyone else in the same boat? A couple weeks later it’s doing this again. The app support button here doesn’t work, so what am I supposed to do?
Had ring for 2 years - RAgret
I regret buying the ring.. the subscription is way too expensive given how expensive the ring is. The days it says I have a bad sleep, I’m like ‘der I got home at 3am’. Only thing I like was the period tracker which costs more - and of course they’d charge extra for women to monitor their bodies 👍🏽
Battery issues
Great product, love the app.
But the battery is awful. I often miss stats as the battery which I charged to 100% before bed can’t display results in the morning as there was insufficient battery
Monthly Subscription Fee
Without the monthly subscription fee this ring is entirely useless. It won’t let you view any historical data, only the current day scores with no detail behind them. Considering the upfront price of the ring, to need to pay a subscription to even view yesterdays sleep score is unjustifiable.
Heart rate
It would be better to highlight lowest average heart rate rather than the lowest heart rate in the summaries.
Battery terrible
I love my Oura ring but whereas I used to get a few days out of one charge I am now regularly missing data as my ring is running out of battery in 24 hours. Really frustrating because it affects all of my weekly stats.
Great app, needs better widgets
Love the ring.
For improvements, I would love to see the full swag of widgets, particularly to see my scores across the three major areas, trends, etc. right now there are only widgets relating to sleep
Improve You!
Oura has changed my life. I was experimenting with HRV prior to buying the ring, then it took me to another level. And it keeps on getting better. For a female with menstrual cycles, Oura has taught me more than anyone on earth. This has helped my monthly routine, understand my mood and is spot on when the dreadful comes. Thinking with the expense, I will forgo paying for the app when I’m definitely in menopause, but then they add another feature. It keeps getting better! Now with the stressed to restored feature during the day, I am wondering when I charge the ring now … I don't want to lose a second!!!
Expensive product with an added pink tax
The Oura ring and its monthly subscription fees are quite costly. Unfortunately, for women who want to track their cycle, the Oura unfairly withholds temperature data and requires an additional subscription for another app. It's frustrating to pay so much for a product that already collects the necessary information, only to be forced to pay more for access to that data. If it were men needing that reading I’m sure it would be available on the app for free.
Put the positive back into the interface
The latest update has replaced the very elegant and visually consistent + shortcut icon on the app with a god-awful ring thing that looks like a 1990s Clippy from Microsoft and a yellow bubble of options that looks like a post-it note.
Please fire the person responsible for this travesty and put the old shortcut symbol back.
