Bought the Hardware for 300$ buck and app is completely unusable without subscription, that’s basically a scam on its customers and really oppressive

Décevant et prix de l’app

Cela fait gentiment une année que je me suis offert cette bague. Comme j’ai un travail très prenant, mes nuits ne sont pas toujours ce qu’il y a des plus reposantes. Personnellement, je trouve intéressant de voir les informations de mes nuits mais je n’ai pas besoin d’interprétations! L’app vous dit « prudence » quand vous avez moins de 7h de sommeil et cela impact votre préparation à la journée qui, chez moi, n’a jamais dépassé le 60… c’est franchement démotivant! Et quand l’app vous dit « aujourd’hui reposez-vous » alors qu’une journée de travail vois attend, comment vous faites? Au final, les « conseils » de la bague me stressaient davantage qu’ils ne me faisaient du bien. Et finalement, vous payez 300$ une bague pour 6mois de gratuité de l’app, puis c’est 7$/mois à payer pour continuer à profiter de toutes les fonctionnalités de l’app, c’est du vol! Et je refuse de participer à ça, surtout quand on sait ce qu’ils font également de vos données…

Ring is great but the app lacks features!

I love the ring for its comfort to wear during sleep or yoga. The app itself for me lacks important features/functionalities. For example you can only note the start of the period but not the end. And therefore there is no prediction of fertility window. A woman‘s cycle is a bit more complex than just the start of period! Furthermore it can only record walking and running, why is it not possible to track heartrate of a general training session like yoga or hiit? The only thing I find useful about the app, which comes with a price is the sleep data. But for now not worth the monthly fee. The battery though lasts super long, which is a plus.

Love the Oura Ring. Simple, very precise, technically up to date wearable tracker. And looks nice. Especially the sleep stage tracking is awesome. Only thing I miss is a Apple Watch App, that would allow to start activity tracking without using the phone. Is this gone be rolled out in the future?

Good, but…

Overall a very good app and an excellent sleep tracker. Unfortunately the Apple Health integration is very basic. While the data is shown in the app itself, the data written to Apple Health is very limited - especially compared to the Apple Watch sleeper tracker. This definitely has to be improved, otherwise there is no point to use the tracker. People have multiple health devices and Apple Health consolidates it.

App not working anymore

It was the best until it stopped working. Now the ring is useless as the App doesn’t start anymore.

Super interesting data

We love the insight from these rings. The ring of my partner had a hardware issue when they ensbled oxygen measurement and we were anxious to get support. It took a week to get a response, but the ring was then swiftly replaced.
