The ring is okay at tracking walks and sleep but hopeless when it comes to cardiovascular exercise, especially equipment like a Stairmaster. The ring’s coating is also pretty fragile. If you want accurate data buy a Polar.

Routes never save on the app anymore they used to always but now it just says route unavailable even when theirs data, sometime it also just cuts off halfway through, I’ve done all the things it says kept the wrong on, left the app open and even sometimes brought my phone with me, needs to be fixed big issue.
The Oura ring is an excellent sleep tracker, and the app gives great insights. However, I think the step tracker is a bit generous. It thinks I’ve walked multiple kilometres while I’ve been doing the house-cleaning. One request: could you include a weight graph, and enable weight in kilograms to one decimal point? For those of us watching our weight every 100g matters!
I’m on my second Oura ring and I really love it but I do wish they had an iPad version of the app that could show more. Now that Apple have provided us with a iPad version of the health app that would be really great.
Oura has really helped with my sleep as you can see what actions you take are helping or hindering as the data is very detailed. Much lower EMF than Apple Watch and other sleep/activity monitors too.
The app crashes upon trying to open This is a recurring bug they say they have fixed repeatedly but it keeps on happening No app makes this a useless device I was initially living the sleep monitor because it gets the deep sleep levels i need so much living with fibromyalgia Sad
Hi team, After the most recent update bugs are all over the place - activity tracking is off (eg for the ‘meet daily goal’ - the bar is red even though 101% of the goal achieved), active calories goal is not showing properly - it’s impossible to know if the readiness is calculated properly give how much activity is off. Very upsetting!
Tech should serve us, right? Oura has some way to go! A primary focus of app is the evaluation of sleep and sleep time factors to determine readiness. This seems a reasonable objective but it's execution is flawed. The app cannot adapt to sleep durations outside normative (7-9 hours). Thus, Sleep scores become a source of stress for short sleepers like myself. This can only lead to further deterioration as I worry about my score. further, the Readiness score is heavily based on the Sleep score so it's not clear how to get out of this rut. Support, within the app, is a very mixed bag. Most of the responses to my concerns either aren't read and/or are responded to with canned responses. They seem bot like but less intelligent. Occasionally you get get good and thoughtful responses/agents but this is rarer than it needs to be for a premier product with a paid subscription.
Some of the data is very questionable. It's still interesting. However, you'll stop using it after a couple of weeks as the data isn't converted into anything very useful.
I am having trouble opening the app (ios). everytime I press it it’ll close the app. I wonder if there is an issue similar elsewhere? I don’t want to delete the app as it says it will delete all the data.
