OWNU Reviews

My best gymfriend

Line Lie on

Denmark

I've been using ownu since 2021 and I don't think I can train without it at all. the app is super motivating and on the days when you don't want to train, it keeps me in my ears. the app helps me keep track of challenging myself and making enough progress.

Best workout app

AidaTira on

Denmark

I’ve been using OWNU since the very beginning. The workouts are amazing, challenging and fun. There are many different guides to choose from depending on your goals, preferred workout split and schedule (ex. 3 or 5 day schedule). The app itself is very accessible and easy to use. Another thing is the You vs you challenge, which is not only a great way of challenging myself, but there is also an amazing community of women supporting one another💜 Huge recommendation for anyone who isn’t sure what to do in the gym, or looking for workout-programmes which will give you results!💪

Virkelig god app

Det eneste den mangler er en specifik kostplan man kan følge :)

Great App

SuzzieQ4321 on

It’s a great app for sure but there is at least little thing that I would love to see to give it full 5 stars. There are times I need to make my own movements due to some problems with my body. I would like to see in the app also like options with different movements instead of planned ones. As an example lunges. There is no option without lunges when doing leg day. Maybe if you could add difficulties or injuries this could be fixed but I ain’t experienced with making apps so don’t know how ease this is.

Great content but a tendency to crash

ANNBJ32 on

Denmark

I really enjoy the content of the app. It makes it so easy to get some workouts done, and I see the results as well. However, the app has a tendency to crash on both the phones I have had while subscribing. This is a significant drawback, as it is frustrating when you only need to register the last set.

Not intuitive and user friendly

It’s not easy to figure out how the app works - the time counting is very confusing and I’m not sure how it logs the repetitions. It’s also a bit silly that it won’t allow you to log extras. So if instead of 2 sets I’d prefer to do 3 - I can’t log that. I do like the fact that every workout has a video. It’s also nice to have the alternative choices for certain workouts and it would be useful to have even more as the gym equipment and availability varies. Apart from following the routine it would be cool if it was possible to search for a certain excercise video just by itself in case people feel like trying something different or new. The counter think is totally off, doesn’t make much sense - as it’s not often possible to follow the exact order or exercises in the gym as equipment might be busy and you need to do something else in the meantime. It would Be better if you could simply tap those excercises that you’ve finished in whatever order. I think the app developers could benefit from following a couple of users in the gym and observing how the actual experience is because for now it’s simply difficult to use and until this point I didn’t manage to log the excercises properly.

I have used the app for a long time and love that there are so many different programs. Whether I want to build muscle or lose weight, there are different programs with different areas of focus. I also use it if I am on holiday etc. because there are so many good homeprograms. I love this app!!!

Good structure

A.Lund.L on

Denmark

Good structured workouts. The only thing is, that you can leave the app while training, because then the workout will count as a new one. But a side of that, it is a good app to come back on track with workouts, food and so on.

Got me through lockdown and I never left …
