I really love the content of the app. The training plans are so good, and there is the variety of them. But the way the app works is so disappointing. When I download it, it wasn’t too bad but after the last several updates it became so difficult to use. First, it’s annoyingly super slow, sometimes you need to wait for about 3-5 seconds after each tap to track reps. Secondly, it doesn’t work in the background, so if you switch between the apps, you cannot return to the place you left, it’s always the home page. After that you need to navigate to your plan, your week, start the workout again and only then you can continue. Imagine doing it each when it’s THAT slow. Honestly, I wanted to support my favourite influencer, but I think that’s gonna be my last monthly subscription

Glitchy
Very glitchy. Not very happy with the app. I like that it tells you when to increase or decrease the weight. The workout time reset during my workout and it makes me wonder if it will lose anything else I store in the app like my notes or weight history. Probably won’t renew next month.
Coming back a day later to say the app did what I feared and deleted yesterdays workout.
Update Needed
I’m unable to open the individual workout and log my weight or substitute an exercise.
The screen doesn’t move forward for those options.

Great Features & Workouts
I have been in search of an app that is focused on strength, has multiple program options, and tracks progress automatically. Some other apps I have used are either build-your-own workouts or offer a single plan to follow. I really like other workout videos on YouTube but can’t stand the music and get bored of the repetitiveness. I have really struggled to stick with a strength program without working 1:1 with a trainer. I was SO HAPPY when I saw the 3 day Push/Pull/Legs program!! As a distance runner, I only want to lift heavy a few days a week and I have found I’m always alternating other programs to fit what works for me. So far I absolutely LOVE the PPL program and how easy it is to track details of the workout.
Some features that set this app apart from others is the RPE tracker which recommends when to increase weight/reps when needed and that you can time the entire workout AND each exercise. Though it would be even better if you could time each set, rather than the time being the total for all sets of that exercise.
Generally, the app is really easy to use and looks beautiful! The UI is modern, clean, and intuitive. The home dashboard is great to view all your programs and progress.
Some features don’t work as smoothly like tracking weight and completing the workout. For some reason I complete the workout but always shows as paused until I go back in and “complete” the workout a second time. The weight tracker just doesn’t work sometimes but I don’t really care about that so much.
Overall great app and strength programs!! Definitely recommend!

I love this app. Love the videos, love that you can swap out exercises if you want. Sometimes it does glitch and doesn’t save the weights.
Changed my workout results
I started my health journey about a year and a half ago, but only really got into lifting five months ago. This app has helped me not only feel more comfortable lifting weights at a busy gym, but has also completely transformed my exercise results. I am now seeing muscles that I didn’t even know existed and I’m finally feeling like all the hard work I’ve been putting in is paying off. As someone who also recently found out they’re expecting, I’m excited to safely transition into lifting while pregnant.
The nutrition side of the app is incredibly helpful as well. My only complaint is that, as someone who loves to cook, the “custom meals” feature can be a bit glitchy. There are days at a time where I’m not able to add a custom meal to my log because the app won’t let me select the date. Additionally, I don’t love that I can’t edit a meal after it’s added if I’ve found a healthier ingredient substitute, etc.
Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this app to a friend and have – one of my besties recently joined and shared that she too is loving the app!
Best weight lifting app
I can’t believe how much I’ve grown mentally and physically doing Obergs guides. This app has by far THE BEST weight lifting guides with some pretty sweet cardio and ab guides!! Plus there are so many different ones between her and her partner on this app. Her food guide is pretty sweet to with so many amazing recipes. It’s worth every penny!!
Too many glitches on the app
It’s affordable and variety on work outs. However I like to listen to music as I work out so if there a cardio workout and I listen to music it won’t accept the work out unless app is open… most of the time on the treadmill I watch YouTube videos…
The app never saves my weight loss progress…
And for some reason every time I open the app it asks me to sign in and then automatically takes me to My home page.

This app is put together with everything in mind. It addresses building all muscle groups and addresses cardio which is great fir weight loss. The recipes in this app is the best I’ve seen so far. Love this app❤️.
