Good content, poor performance

I really love the content of the app. The training plans are so good, and there is the variety of them. But the way the app works is so disappointing. When I download it, it wasn’t too bad but after the last several updates it became so difficult to use. First, it’s annoyingly super slow, sometimes you need to wait for about 3-5 seconds after each tap to track reps. Secondly, it doesn’t work in the background, so if you switch between the apps, you cannot return to the place you left, it’s always the home page. After that you need to navigate to your plan, your week, start the workout again and only then you can continue. Imagine doing it each when it’s THAT slow. Honestly, I wanted to support my favourite influencer, but I think that’s gonna be my last monthly subscription Environment IOS 16.4.1
