Took money from my account

I bought something from eBay and for some reason it didn’t work and paypal just took a dollar out of my account EVERYTIME I tried again, disgusting. I’m going to be very upset if I don’t get my money back

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Why does it say 4+ if I can’t use it as a 16 year old. I have my own bank account and manage it great and I want to use pay Pal as well. Change age to at least 16 PLEASE

Worse customer service ever

Just deleted my account due to terrible customer experience. I have been worse off paying with PayPal, no refund given and lost my MacBook Pro to eBay seller, macbookrepairsydney after sending for screen replacement.

New account

I want to create a new account but the app ask for 2 addresses which I don’t have. I only have one and when I put a second one it says that they can’t connect with me. Help!!

Meh

Generally a good, safe way to pay for things & transfer money, unless you want it done in a timely manner. If you order anything & pay this way, be prepared to keep those funds in your account for a good 7-8 days afterwards. God forbid you have the sufficient funds taken out for other bills in that time, or they’ll call you 8 times a day, every gd day, until you pay it off. (Not complaining about debt collection, just about how long it takes for withdrawal to occur)

Not as reliable as before

I have used PayPal for over 10 years. Now it’s is not as safe and reliable as before. I should get a second verification each time, sent to my phone, but sometimes this doesn’t happen and the transaction just goes straight through. Also dodgy facebook shops seem to be using PayPal to force sale through at higher amount than the goods are stated to be and even sometimes when you cancel before finalising sale because you realise they are being deceptive then PayPal puts the payment through anyway, how is that legal? Raising a dispute with PayPal is hit and miss. I purchased an electrical product that did not even turn on, the seller will not agree to replace or refund, I thought PayPal would back me up but they would not. Looking for alternatives now.

App work badly

I can’t believe that in 2024 we still using apps with so many bugs, can’t even set an business sales as u click many times and doesn’t respond at all

Wouldn’t recommend

Really hard to use, holds payments for 21days. If you sell 7 items all that shipping comes out of your pocket because you can access the money from PayPal. This is disgusting especially with the cost of living right now you can’t expect people to wait that long. If you are going to hold the money for that long atleast let people access enough for shipping

It’s a pity that you can’t change billing country

Damn convenient to buy some things but what a shame that once you change countries that you are screwed as you can’t change your billing address nor credit card. So now PayPal is useless to me.
