Love this app

Must have if traveling in Switzerland by train

Tony Amory on

One of the best apps for train travel. If you don’t think so, go try some of the ones in the USA or other countries and compare. Stores your tickets for scanning, quick response on finding point to point train routes, tells you the platform number, transfer times, how crowded the train is going to be, I could keep going. Made traveling from city to city a beeeze.

Best train app in the world

Muhaidib on

Amazing app, best trains in the world and very well designed app, unbelievable detail on trains, stations, even busses and local metros. 10/10

Horrible app

Mit W on

App is not user friendly at all and not simple to use for foreigners, I bought a half fare card but when purchasing tickets the prices are not discounted despite making a new account and using that account to get a half fare card. There’s no help or assistance in the app to assist us on how to buy tickets… horrible horrible app

Must have for Switzerland public transport

I like the application. The EasyRide feature is awesome, not having to worry about buying the right tickets, it just does it by itself while minimizing the cost. You can also book in advance to have a discount.

Best transit app ever

Swiss trains are on another level, and so is this app! This is the best public transportation app I’ve ever used. You can buy day passes, one-way tickets, round trip tickets, and more. I used this app for a trip in Switzerland to buy train, metro and ferry tickets. The timetable feature shows you all the information you need - from what platform to get on at, the stops, where to transfer, and more. Super easy to use and very convient since you don’t need to print out or have a physical ticket! You can add multiple passengers to the app - so you can buy tickets for your entire group.

Not initiative

raphaviva on

Not intuitive and complicated for no reason. Why can’t i pay as i book and then the app asks if it should save the information, instead of going through the process of finding a ticket and then being told you have to cancel and find the payment information within the settings and fil it up AND THEN start again. Also, the sale-tickets are hard to find. Plus the app has a bunch of bugs.

Very useful but...

... Super saver tickets available on the mobile website are not shown on the app (even if they are available)

Excellent

Sophia2M on

The best transport app I've used. I was visiting several cities in Switzerland for a week, and it was easy to book tickets and navigate around using this app. It shows you what platform your train will pull in on, and gives you live updates on when it'll be in the station, which was very helpful to me as a tourist. Also you can just show your digital ticket in the app instead of printing a ticket (and this function works without data/wifi).

Essential travel tool for Switzerland
