Cool design but extremely annoying trying to access basic things like saving tickets, seeing the connection information for that ticket, and finding connection info at all

The ÖBB App comes with the following features:
• Tickets for trains, buses, the metro and trams: book your ÖBB tickets & get exclusive online specials such as the Sparschiene Österreich discount fares. You can also book the city tickets and weekly or monthly tickets of Austrian regional transport operators
• Pay your fares on the go with SimplyGo! The handy add-on for the ÖBB App automatically identifies the routes you travelled and calculates the matching public transport fare for your complete journey
• Secure your favourite seat on the Railjet: use the graphic seat reservation
• Find the best fare: see the ÖBB train services sorted by lowest fare first
• ÖBB Account: conveniently and securely store your personal data and means of payment, save your favourite routes, and receive additional exclusive offers (e.g. the Vorteilscard 66 discount card)
We are continuously working on the app to enrich it with new features and improve the usability.

App crashes when trying to click on ticket
When I try to click on a ticket that I bought on the start page, the entire app crashes I need to use ÖBB Scotty to see information about platforms and connections, because the app crashes when I try to view my ticket
Terrible terrible service 3 hours late
3 hours late from Innsbruck to Amsterdam. Not a single announcement telling us anything. App kept saying train was leaving in 20 minutes. Did offer a ride on any other train heading to Amsterdam. No apologies. Customer service didn’t respond. And since this technically an app review the app is nearly useless. Finding prices is hard. Reserving a seat is as hidden a feature as it could be. I have no idea how you would book a sleeping car using the app. If ÖBB is your only train option, take a plane.
No support
Don’t make a mistake. There is no support for you. Even customer service at the main station is useless.
Poor support/poor guidance
I bought first class ticket but online- not through the app. I THOUGHT creating an account to amalgamate my tickets was good planning - Though I had a transaction code and a full ticket number there were no description of time for departure, seat assignment (which I paid for ) and no way of tracking it through the app. Further no help available! Only in German. Too bad! So sad! Will need to rebook the trip! Double the cost!!! Un-nerving to be stuck in a foreign city while trying to get to another city. Further - don’t forget to check your documents- after the confirmation of payment you get you ticket confirmation from which you need to Find your link for your PDF. GOOD LUCK !
Useless for connections
This is not useful unless you know where the connections are.
