Skillshare: Creativity Classes

I love it for refining my watercolour skills, learning new skills like procreate digital painting , to creating Etsy pages, to setting up canvas brand kits to SEO- search engine optimisation from the CEO of an agency. I love the format- how it’s broken up into 4-10 mini video chapters so you can just do a bit if you’re short of time.

I love skillshare, reason? The variety of classes it’s amazing , you can learn anything you want , especially for me - as a digital artist I’m constantly looking for new ways to improve and draw in new ways , the variety of learning its great here and also I get new brushes which is a bonus for me too.

The app is very good but unfortunately the off-line use recently has been problematic. At first I thought I was having a problem with my fingertips on the iPad but when I want to watch off-line videos, this app is not responding. It eventually gets there but only after a degree of frustration.If that can be fixed, the rest of this app is very good. Two stars off until it is fixed.

App constantly freezes, crashes, buttons don’t work, UI disappears, app breaks at the end of every video just because there is no internet connection…. On the offline mode. It’s really cool you can download and watch the videos anywhere but it’s pointless if it bricks the entire app.

I really appreciate that a lot of effort goes into creating an app like that pulling together so many amazingly creative and smart people, but…..I won’t be able to renew my subscription because the price tag has become so hefty, that I simply can’t afford it. A real shame.

They charge you even if you don’t use it, relying on people forgetting they’ve signed up for something. And then, they charge £79. I tried to get a refund and they refused. Absolute rip off for something you can just get from YouTube!

I’ve enjoyed the content, but decided in the free trial it wasn’t for me. I tried to cancel but couldn’t get into my account, so emailed within the timeframe. Skillshare still charged me £130 and refuse to give it back! I explained I couldn’t afford this and contacted them via email within the timeframe… but they still won’t budge! Really uncompassionate company that don’t accommodate people with disabilities who struggle with technology

I tried sighing in but it said I already had an account so I tried logging and it said I don’t have an account and when I tried signing in with google it wouldn’t let me it always says unable to sign in. By the way I found out about by watching a YouTuber named gohar he said I would get 30 days for free and in the website it also said that but when I was sighing in it said only 7 days so even if I had signed in I would only get 7 free days. Fix your problems

I love this app as a collective of teachings into the world of the creative mind. Take what you need, do the work that sits well with you and you will learn so much. The only challenge is which path to choose first! A challenge indeed for us creatives who love a bit of everything!

No email reminder before they took my money, now I’m down £130 for something I won’t use, seems that costumer service are unwilling to do anything!
