I just want to say thank you. I'm a software engineer in FAANG with over a decade of experience and I've always felt health technologies always suffered from poor quality. As someone who tries to raise the bar on things my team and company delivers, it's been a very frustrating experience finding a good CGM app that comes close to that level. I almost threw in the towel with CGMs, and I was in the process of voicing my frustration to dexcom in an email, I did one last search and found someone recommending this app. Healthcare technologies should have a much higher bar on quality. You are raising that bar much higher and leading how a Healthcare app should be delivered. Thank you.

The help desk was VERY helpful with getting my data to show up again. For Dexcom G7 users on Apple Watch Series 8 or 9 this is the only way currently to see your data for free! Thank you Sugarmate crew!

Issue with replaying my glucose number onto my iWatch

Today I had been locked out because I had to agree to the share of privacy and data health. Everything was running fine but tired of company’s holding usage to agree with something. Deleted the app. Will stick with the G6 app. Did like the app when I was using it.

The app used to function so well, we used it to keep track of EVERYTHING until my daughter got on Loop, I was a little sad when we started utilizing it less and less (we still put in fingerpokes, low treatments etc). After Dexcom bought it out the quality seemed to decline…it now lags SO badly that I can barely put in a single event, or I get so frustrated waiting on it to load (or having to click the icon multiple times just to be able to put in a blood sugar reading) that I don’t want to use it. It gets a second star for the phone call functionality, but beyond that it’s bad. A huge shame, as we used to LOVE this app.

Great app

Just tried the app. Signed in my Dexcom account find but no G7 data. After read more it looks like you don’t support G7 you should note that you on support G6. I did get feedback on my review that is does support the G7. But the sent information on how to connect the G6. Next try their chat support… no luck just a chat bot that points you to the same wrong doc..

Use to LOVE the Sugarmate app on my Apple Watch. I could at any time look at watch face and see my glucose reading. Now I can’t see it. I have to tap on it then go back to Home Screen for readings to appear. FRUSTRATING! I don’t need Sugarmate cuz my Dexcom app works the same way. Tap to see readings.

My child was just diagnosed with type 1 and I wanted a singular app to track levels, insulin, and carb intake… I downloaded literally every app on the market and Sugarmate is by far the best. The data visualizations are very good. Overall, the more I use this, the more impressed I am. Very well thought out. What I love the most is the integration of the Dexcom G7 because the syncing is instantaneous and it provides a single place for multiple people to mentor levels. This is huge as the Dexcom sharing is cumbersome.

App used to work fine for checking sugar and logging how much you do, but after the last “performance” update things have gotten so much worse. Everything is super laggy now, keeps refreshing, and is basically unusable. I kill the app and it doesn’t help. Now looking for an alternative…
