Its nice to read a good and reliable article from top journalists
This review was first brought to you by The Athletic. Jokes aside.. with the dwindling quality of football articles around the web no thanks to over-usage of click-baits to attract views and eventually more money on other so called football article platforms has often time frustrate me and almost made me lose some interest on the sport as part of the appeal is in its journalism...... That is until I found The Athletic which truly provide as in their words “in depth sport analysis” The quality of articles are reminiscent or perhaps exceed those of Fourfourtwo or World football magazines of old. The Athletic offers range of articles for sports of your liking too not just football
After latest update (13 Feb) whenever I swipe on the main screen from right to left in order to jump to specific teams that I followed, or even just by touching each of them on top of the menu causes the app to quit.
There are many ways to follow your team, but The Athletic has writers who really follow their team, minus all the click bait rumour mills etc, because they know what their readers want; a proper news portal about teams that they follow. Highly recommended for the curated writing
Best sports journalism you will find. From college football to premiere league, the staff is as good as it gets.
After painfully using ESPN’s clunky app for years, I finally called it quits and made the switch to The Athletic. This app has a better looking and responsive interface, quality articles, and active live blogs and chats for games. Should have made the switch years ago. Subscription is worth it IMO.
If you click a linked article from digital NYTimes and then get prompted to open the app, you get into a do loop of signing in and then can’t find the article you clicked from.
Excellent articles. Excellent writers who are well-informed, and who also provide useful and insightful analysis.
I depend on the Athletic’s reporting, and love their stories.
