Took money for a subscription I cancelled

RoDan2324 on

United Kingdom

The app took money for a subscription I cancelled. Contacted support and was told I would receive a refund returned back after 110 days of. It receiving again reassure it would be processed and give it another 5 again nothing contacted again to be told to give it a few days to them be looked out of the app. Logged back in for the chat to have gone and no be told that the app does not issue refunds though I have screen shots stating otherwise and now a cancelled subscript actually shows as active without my consent. My daughter didn’t like the app which was why I cancelled the subscription which was supposed to be free for 7 days! $60 is a lot for a children’s app that doesn’t offer what is expected! I would like my refund as promised and stated via the in app chat!

Very poor customer service

Szwarko2013 on

United Kingdom

I reached out to the app after my daughter disliked the app and their auto bot agreed a refund which then their customer service team refused to process. Despite messages with their customer service team, they ignored screen shot evidence of the refund being agreed and refused to explain how I escalate my complaint. For an education platform, I expected the service to be more people focused however this is my experience. I would never recommend this app.

Money grabbers

Took out a 3 day trial which i never used and forgot on day 4. Cancelled it. They charged me 80. Asked them to refund me in good faith given I had never ever logged in. If I had already, fair enough right? No can do, they said - ‘our policy is our policy’. Rubbish customer service and thieves who won’t do the right thing

Terrible App, extremely poor quality and waste of money

Bigsy p on

I made the mistake of buying the premium version for £60 thinking it was a good app for my 3 year old to learn and play at the same time. The activities and game are extremely basic quality. Each subject has very limited activities and repeat the same objectives. Each time you finish an activity it always gives you a score of 100 and makes weird noises once complete. Not sure what the stars at the end of each activity means, but that keeps going into a cube that does nothing. It doesn’t give you enough time to think about the activity so it starts giving you hints immediately, for example: if you need to complete a puzzle it will show you where the pieces need to go. If you drag a piece to the wrong section it will show you where to move it. Not something I was expecting as I’d want the app to challenge the thought process instead of showing us how to complete the activity. I tried to cancel my subscription but can’t as it was an annual one off payment, I thought it was something I could cancel at any time. This app really needs to be fixed in terms of the quality of the activities. All so the images look very old and outdated. Doesn’t seem like a modern app for kids to use. I would stay clear of this app it’s boring and repetitive and my 3 year old has never once said he wants to play this app even after him playing a number of activities Only wish I could get part of my money back because it really isn’t value for money.

Dishonest!

Took over £50 without warning does not appear in Apple subscriptions so you can’t get your money back that way. No response to emails, will open a PayPal case to get my money back!

Disappointing

App doesnt work when not connected to wi-fi. I thought it would be good for travelling but it doesnt work. You can only do some drawing outside of the house. Once connected to wifi there are activities what you can see. We found quite few activities not appropriate for kids age.

Tiny Tap is NOT free

I downloaded this app for my just-three grandson so I/ we haven’t used it yet. I’m in shock that you have debited £66.76 from my bank account and I want it back! Having checked your app info it says nowhere that I’d be charged, ‘ yes ‘ at the in-app purchases but I’d assume, as with hundreds of other apps I’ve used over the years this would be to stop adverts. You need to clearly state you charge a huge amount!

Dyslexic

Rosieconcer on

I dl this for my LO as it said 2-3 but she can't understand it. So we haven't used it since the day I dl it. I'm Dyslexic myself, & read the yearly subscription as £4 something & have had a huge shock this evening when £40 something has actually came out of my account using up all my money until mid February. I have asked for a refund as it has just happened. I hope & prey that I get it as otherwise we will struggle.
