We engaged Urban Company 1.5yrs ago on an weekly basis and the professional assigned was quite good. However it was difficult to get back the same professional when we went to an extended holiday. Since we were regular they could have blocked the professional’s time for the subsequent weeks but this was not done. After which we were given professionals who were new and they could not finish the same tasks we gave our earlier professional. Now they have this policy where you can only be assigned to professional who stays near you. The standard have gone from good to bad and we will be cancelling our subscription. Good luck all those engaging UC’s services.

Expect mediocre services from providers who are given high ratings. What was most disappointing was the service. When service required cancellation and refunding when I had a valid reason, they offered to give me a call to tell me how to proceed and after 3 weeks and 9 emails of reminders, they keep sending a default “we will reach out” or “the relevant team has been notified and will contact you.” I find it very insulting that there was no follow up and empty promises were made about the packages. Will never support again.

Rescheduling service is 25 dollar which is non sense, may not be available on certain days. They also reduced the time for cleaning. I would not recommend Urban company to anyone.

They sent a “professional” to jet foam my AC. He did a very shabby job and didn’t even fulfill the full package, leaving out the vacuum part. When asked, he said it wasn’t needed because he had jet foamed. Before he left, he promised to come back and fix anything if necessary. Within two days, the AC started to smell, and when I contacted him, he said I must pay for a deeper service. He kept pushing for additional services, and his attitude changed 180 degrees. When I contacted the office, they asked him to come back but refused to change their “professional” despite me telling them I didn’t want to deal with his attitude if he was unwilling to return. They ended up proposing a partial refund, which never came after a month. When contacted numerous time over their chat , they simply kept asking me to wait and then suddenly claimed the refund had already been made, giving me a reference number my bank couldn’t trace. It seems that all their “professionals” are outsourced and thus they have no actual staff in hand. In short, use them at your own risk.

BEWARE. Booked cleaning service for 6pm. By 7.15pm, the staff still didn’t arrive. Tried to call and message yet no reply. Not a single message to update that she will be late. It was so inconvenient for us because end up we have to booked another helper from other portal. To save your money and time, you can try other known portals. I’ve never had a staff didn’t turn up except from Urban Company. Dishonest staff. After booking was cancelled the staff name went missing should have screenshot and update it here. So everyone else would avoid the person.

Good service, massage on face is amazing.

Avoid if possible: - their system updated the cleaner assigned to me (once-in-2 weeks plan), then schedule for the next cleaning to be one week earlier - said that their policy is to charge credit card 7 days before the actual service but twice charged me two weeks in advance - customer service keep saying changes were made so (…), but those changes were made on their end, throwing my planned schedule off. - refunded me for cancellation charge $11, because the error was on their end, then proceed to charge me $22 for no reason. - feels like those coy that hold your credit card hostage and want to double charge you and hope you missed out on a few

The app and plans are confusing to navigate. I have multiple times of double appointment or last minute confusion. Appointments are only assigned 12 days before and you can only shift the date within the week. And if you cancelled there are cancellation charges. So you are not given the flexibility to move your dates out of the very limited range of choices, and you are force to be charged if you cancelled. There is no direct access to customer services and the most direct is via Instagram which they can choose to ignore you. Despite the horrible customer support process and the badly designed app the cleaning staffs are friendly and responsible. I have no negative comments about them at all. Just a lot of frustration with the horrible company they are employed under.

The company has to review their staff and invest $$ on staff training rather than advertisement.
