VLC media player

I like this player because it’s avaible on all platforms, and supports all formats.

Aj keď to občas seká a funkcia nahodneho vyberu pesniciek niekedy prehra tu istu pesnicku aj 3krat tak myslim si ze developeri si zasluzia velke uznanie ze tam nemaju reklamy a kazdy normalny clovek si tak vie vypocut hudbu a pozriet video bez rusenia. Dakujem vam.

It is basically unsetable

Only giving higher rating because of open source and playing all of my videos but the buttons for media control and pause are so small that I quite often hit “next” or “previous” accidentally and the great lag during resume is so annoying that I have to remove one star but I would love to remove two.

Why is this elementary feature for a video player missing? Also after unoausing video it takes a while for audio to start playing - starts being very annoying

I do not like light background while playing music and permanently visible icons . What was wrong with black and hidden icons? Still it doesn’t remember equalizer settings!!!

Doesn’t resume playback from local files, I always have to fast forward where I ended. Any workarounds?

Both connections SFTP/SMB not working

and again… you “fixed” something that worked in the old versions. i used to take stuff from my NAS through smb and watch it later. doesnt work anymore, anything I download from my NAS, doesnt show up in the library. guess ill have to find an alternative

Support’s almost every video format, and it is only one really for free! Others u must pay for sound and storage etc. I didn’t downloaded it at firs bcs bad reputation (4 stars) but if u want to download a movie and play it this id definitely the way!
