VLC media player

One of the first things i installed when got an ipad. Also using it on all other platforms

VLC is an amazing media player, but I was really surprised to see that it doesn’t have a Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode. It’s such a useful feature that many other media players support, allowing you to keep watching videos while using other apps. I’d love to see this added in a future update—it would make VLC even better! Hope the developers consider it. Thanks!

While you are using VLC player on iPad & Apple Pencil in the range, it start discharging if not using it. Please fix it !!!

Yes, this player really can work with most types of files, such as .xm, .s3m, .it and so on. But there are bugs during playback! There are three bugs that I noticed: loss of sound when rewinding; moving forward 5 songs, although I pressed 1 time to change the track in the background (everything is ok in the application) and broken sounds, for example when the sound from a song is sometimes interrupted. I don't know if the problem is in your app or in iOS - it's not clear. But this is the only player that has no advertising and works with most files!!!

При гортанні списку відтворення дуже часто спрацьовує функція виділення пісень, іноді навіть по 2-4 пісні. Це дуже дратує. Функція «повор пісні», «повтор всього списку» мало того, що помаранчевий колір на сірому тлі, практично не розрізнити, ця іконка дуже маленька і я не можу зрозуміти, чи весь список повторюється, чи одна пісня. Темна тема спасає трохи ситуацію, але треба придивлятись. Решта все влаштовує, особлива подяка за загрузку пісень по мережі без iTunes

Не можу відтворювати відео з бібліотеки на свій телевізор. Трансляцію вмикається, але транслюється лише аудіодоріжка, без відео…

I lost my entire media library after reinstalling VLC. How to fix? Where are my videos and audios located?

It’s really inconvenient to close the video with that little X button. Could you make an option to have “swipe down to close”? Also the swipe rewind works slowly on iPhone 14 and 15 pro regardless of the video codec and quality. Otherwise good player.
