Welcome Pickups

I scheduled a ride to the airport from Port of Spain Trinidad not realizing that my husband had already booked it with the hotel. I canceled within the hour, received a notification of the cancellation and they charged my credit card anyway. Look at the fine print!!!! Thank god for AmEx. This is not a good company. Avoid at all costs. I am posting this all over social media also.

Fabulous service. The driver was helpful, patient and so friendly. He was on time and knew the best route. Excellent!

My driver was a no-show in Edinburgh and I have screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation to prove it. The company won’t respond to me — their customer service is nonexistent— and my card was charged. I will now take it up with my bank. Do NOT use this company. There add plenty of legitimate ones out there.

Service is easy to use. Drivers check flight status to ensure timely pickup. Seems like their vetting process works well. Drivers speak English and a courteous and competent.

I contracted for pick up. Website specifically stated the driver will monitor flight in case it’s delayed. I gave the flight number. Th flight was delayed. Driver was left after waiting for the original arrival time. I even paid the driver to wait for an extra hour. BTW, there is a charge if you cancel within 24 hr before arrival -NOT free cancellation.

I cannot log into this app. Regardless of whether I use SMS or email for the OTP, I receive it and can enter it, but it just sits there and doesn’t actually log me in. I can log in on the web with no problems, but the mobile app doesn’t work.

For me and my wife, Juan is the best driver who talk with us and give ideas to have a great week in Madrid!! Excellent customer service ever! This guy is an A++ for your company!! Is our first time using this app and service and the service he gave make me feel secure and rate this transportation company as a 5 stars!!

We used this in NYC only because it has explicit options for car seats and boosters for kids. Arrived at JFK from a long international flight to WhatsApp messages from their contracted dispatch telling me I don’t really need the car seats I ordered because it’s not legally required. They ended up swapping in a different driver with a car seat, but his car reeked of cigarettes and made the whole family feel sick. For an insane $145 trip from JFK to Brooklyn, all of this is just totally unacceptable. The company Welcome contracts with in NYC is too low quality to comprend this. This, avoid using this app in NYC.

This was first time using this app and service. The app was intuitive and seamless. Reservation made in US for pickup 48 hours later in Lisbon. Driver was in communication, arrived on time and at designated spot. Courteous and friendly. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

I’m sure location as well as staffing changes have something to do with the negative reviews but I found it to be excellent. I googled airport transportation options for our upcoming flight to San Francisco and reviewed the websites for Uber, Lyft, Taxi and Welcome Pickups. I wanted something like a Taxi with a fixed rate so chose to go with Welcome Pickups. Our driver Sai communicated great, even calling to help direct us out of the airport (we have a very small local airport), had great vacation tips and location suggestions. My husband and I were comfortable during the ride but my son ended up getting car sick, which is common for him and thankfully it was a short trip and he got out of the vehicle in time. Would recommend Welcome Pickups for San Francisco and Sai as a driver!
