Despite all the negative reviews about how people’s queries or requests got ignored, I actually quite enjoyed using the app - somehow I always got a helpful reply, so I kept using it and even signed up with premium membership. At some point they introduced a lending feature, whereby an user can borrow stable coins with Eth or Btc as collateral at low interest rates. I loved the feature as it allowed me to get some cash without selling my coins. I assumed the terms were the same old usual and fair play, and did not read through. Oh what a mistake that was! Big downward market movements meant that my collateral was losing value and the loan to value ratio surpassed the threshold and triggered liquidation. Fair enough, I should keep an key on it and topped up some collateral. But here’s the trick - my collateral was liquidated when the ratio rose past 75%, meaning the value of the loan was more than 75% of the value of the collateral. And when it was liquidated, all the remaining value went to Wirex, nothing left for me. I had assumed that if they sold my collateral for $100 and took back their loan plus some interest, there should have been something left which should be returns to me. But alas, there wasn’t and it was in the fine print and that was that. Probably lost 1 ETH because of this. So they won big time. I wonder how much free money they got during the big downturn, but surely trust has been broken. There will always be people who would say oh it’s your own fault shoulda read the fine print. Fair enough, but there are honorable companies and predatory ones, and I choose the honorable every time.
I deleted the app I’m forever for response I’m from Canada they should put on sign up page of what countries not working for them wasting time thanks
I have sent them numerous documents (even confidential ones) yet they keep on rejecting them, at times not providing a valid reason.
Not worth the trouble. I had been frozen out of my account for 6 months. Just got in after asking a lawyer to help and have immediately move my money out.
I got my account verified and transferred BTC and ETH to the app. Then i learned they’re not offering the credit card in my country. So i transferred the BTC and ETH back. They charged me 12 times the average ETH transfer fees. That’s close to 250 usd for an ETH transfer!! This platform is a rip off so please stay away and do not get close to it.

My account is still not approved after 3 weeks, support still didn’t answer to any of my 5 tickets! I created an account in crypto.com and got approved in 48h! Wirex, complete junk.
Address verification is an endless loop of the app telling you the country can’t be blank.... customer service is non-existent
What are you guys doing about this bad reviews y’all getting? Now I gotta delete the app till I get positive feedback on the app. Don’t want to be a victim of circumstances on your platform.
