Horrible Unreliable Customer Service
I've been a client for a decade already. I've been asked to verify my identity several times, even though they claimed that I will have to do it only once. This time around when I was asked yet again to verify my identity, the status has been "In Review" for 3 weeks already. I called many times and the answer I get is always "it will be resolved within 24 hrs". Yeah, 3 weeks is 24 hrs. In addition to that, the customer service is almost impossible to reach. An average of 30 mins waiting time before reaching an actual human to talk to, and the only answer is it will be okay within 24 hours. I guess this is standard reply for everything. On top of that, it is a long distance call so the call fees are a pain in the pocket. The app has bugs as well. I can no longer access my transaction history. And the Help which is supposed to lead me to a free live chat is also not accessible for some weeks already. World Remit started with a great service, but nowadays, they are nothing but a headache.
Great service charge - Honest review
Pros: LOWEST service charge for bank transfer than other remittance app. I used 4 apps to compare and this is by far the best in-terms of pera padala and cash pick-ups. Cons: With regards to Mobile transfers through mobile phone, example gcash and maya, they got high service charge compared to paypal (lowest) and other remittance app when sending to Philippines. Overall. It’s great :)
